Tennessee Lady Vol News

That expression on CKC's face looked like a second round of "Toto, I have a feeling we're not in Morgantown Huntington anymore."

I wonder if that was the first game in Neyland for her assistant coaches, too?

Dumb post is dumb. Why spin a great UT tweet about the LVs like that?

it's all in a name...bruised orange,,,nuff said
I'm dumbfounded at what y'all see that's negative in that?

Anyone's first time in Neyland Stadium--plus at ground level and for a Florida game--has got to be a unique, eye-opening experience... and for someone new to our family, a visceral realization of how huge and passionate the Vols fanbase is.

So if you get chosen to coach here, YOU KNOW YOU ARE BLESSED! CKC had a "wow!" moment, and I was thrilled for her that she finally got to experience it.

If y'all see something negative in that, I'd suggest you clean your screen or your glasses, because I've never had one negative thought about this coach.

I didn't take it as a negative spin. I noted the awe in Kim’s expression, myself. God bless her, her team, and the hallowed ground on the Hill!

I actually looked for a gif of Dorothy clicking orange slippers, but realized they were ruby slippers and gave up. 😉🤙🏼

Dorothy didn't say that line Because she was thrilled. She said that line because she was scared,,,, because she had just been let down by tornado into a land she had no idea where she was what was going on why she was there

I believe Kim is not scared , but I do believe she is in awe

I do not see a look of bewilderment or fear in that picture. What I see is a look that everyone has when they walk into a crowd of one hundred thousand people

There is a whole different perspective when you're on the field. Looking up at a 100000 people, rather than sitting in a seat with a group of people amongst a 100000.

I don’t think there can be much doubt this version of the LV’s are going to make some waves. Listen, the nonconf schedule won’t settle any doubts this season, it is what it likely needs to be right now. The waves will be made in the conference schedule where I believe this UT team will finish top 4-5 and win some huge games. It’s gonna happen, doesn’t take a genius to figure that out, they added more talent than the media is giving them credit for, way more, and the new staff will play a style of ball that will hurt many teams. It’s coming and though I’m no basketball guru, I think it pretty plain to see. My money is on them finishing #4 in the SEC this season. Would not shock me if they were #3 at year end tbh, but for this season let’s say Tex, SC and LSU are the top 3 and Tenn is on their heels.

Agreed that the LVs will make waves in conference play. I predict the LVs will finish in the top 3. GBO.

you can tell A LOT about a team by how the players act. all of the tn players are literally boiling over with excitement and confidence. not sure i have felt this much positive energy on a lady vol squad since the pat days. they are locked IN!

Same.

I feel like everyone wanted us to believe this is how it was the last few years but the visuals and energy didn’t matchup. Lots of lip service.

So far all Kim says is that she isn’t satisfied and never will be. And all we’ve seen is big smiles, a growing bond and positive energy.

Glad to know it! Let's go!

Day 1. Presser. Kim said her style of play is the future of basketball. She said she’s getting ahead of it. Right on. Change is often uncomfortable. I’m glad it’s happening for the Lady Vols, now, guided by someone who has the balls to do it.

The smell of beer vomit was overwhelming.

It’s been an eye opening off season. As much as everyone loved KH and wanted her to be the next great LV coach, it couldn’t be more obvious that the program needed a change and the players have embraced KC and the new staff completely. The look on these ladies faces and the way they talk about the new regime tells you all you need to know.
