Softball's number is likely to be 25 or 26. Great for the SEC schools that will fully fund those.

Looks like we get another Tenn kid coming home

Nice pickup..potentially the backup catcher if Sophia needs a rest or banged up, can also play corners. Karen went all in on her years ago and lost her to Myers at Auburn. (School #4)

Committed to Aub., goes to Bama, Texas Tech to Tennessee.

She could be potentially a R-Jr. as she only appeared in 4 games her Soph. Year at Bama before she left the team that Feb.

The offense portal pickups it seems are geared towards lack of depth at the plate last year.

This Canady saga seems to get dumber and dumber by the minute.
She overplayed her hand by not taking Oklahoma’s offer when it was extended. Then seem to get bailed out by Texas Tech coming up with a higher offer, and has spent the last three weeks trying to find someone else to pay somewhere in the same neighborhood so she doesn’t have to spend two years in Lubbock. No takers thus far.

At this point she should just return to Stanford. Jessica Mendoza said it in an interview she thinks she will stay. Yes she wants a team that will have some offense to back you up & has a chance at beating OU, but you’re not going to get an offer that is going to match what Tech is offering

I would imagine you would still take her at the same I would imagine you would still take her at the same IIL amount NIL amount

Since she is obviously playing everybody just to drive up the $, TT should withdraw their offer. And how is the Stanford players going to respond to her if she returns knowing she didn't want to play with them next season. She may be burning several bridges here.

I was just told this morning from a college coach at PGF Nationals that Texas Tech offer to Canady was 1.25 million. I’m assuming that’s for 2 years but not sure if these are per year offers she’s getting.

At this point, take the 1.25 million…invest in a program, take it to new heights, & at least Glasco will have an offense…

It seems decently likely she will stay at Stanford.

Oh she probably prefers to go somewhere else however Tech is the largest NIL by far it seems

Money should never be the only deciding factor…life experience has taught me that.

If she was my daughter, I’d tell her it is a no-brainer if Stanford puts something substantial on the table.

Of course, that is assuming that she does well in the classroom at Stanford.

I just found it interesting on Gibson & Taylor are the remaining players from the 2021 class still on the team.
Keene and Underwood are still on campus as students.

What’s interesting for me is the lack of production from the 2022 class outside of Pickens. Dez had her moments but looks like she was recruited over and will fighting for time. Brockenbrough had promise but off the field issue held her back and transfer. Mosley and Mesusan transferred. The ones left, not sure it’ll get better for them moving forward.

Dez to me is the odd ball in the infield this year. A lot for me will depend on how consistent she can be. The defense is there for the most part, but from the mid half to the end of the season was absolutely poor offensively. I look at Roger’s class, outside of Ashley there wasn’t really someone that had major impact…I’m sure if Ally stayed she would have but that’s a different conversation.

Sidenote: I know other schools to this in different sports, but it would be nice to see the program honor Keene on senior day. I know she attends as many games as she can & is still the teams biggest supporter.
