Tennessee Titans sue Lane Kiffin

Which would be an issue between Pola and the Nashville Oilers. It wouldn't have anything to do with Kiffin or USC.

I agree with that. Why do you say Nashville Oilers? Did they piss you off or something? Just asking, I'm detecting alot of hate for the titans in your comments.

I doubt that anyone on the Titan's staff are overly concerned about damages at this point. I'd say Fisher took this as a disrespectful slap in the face by Kiffin and I'm sure it wouldn't have taken a whole lot of posturing with Adams, the Titans' owner to get the go ahead and file this suit. This brightens the bad national spotlight on Kiffin and USC and by doing that it helps Pat Haden start building the case for Kiffin's removal which is inevitable and then Fisher can have the last laugh.

The ABSOLUTE last thing that Kiffin needs right now is negative attention with Haden now acting as the "Grim Reaper" at USC.

Kiffin really is an idiot... I mean REALLY, REALLY an idiot.

Interesting thought. Could have something there.

The lawsuit asks for a jury trial and punitive damages and attorneys fees.

How much will this exactly cost USC if it makes it to trial?

That is what I dont get he screwed a USC guy....what is he thinking.....

This shows what we all have known for quite a while. Lane Kiffin has no loyalty at all to anyone or anything but himself. He is the epitome of the "no respect for anything but self" mentality that is rampant in today's society. I like anything that further exposes this scumbag for what he is.

That being said, I'd rather just never hear about him again except for seeing his teams lose consistently on the ESPN College Gameday Scoreboard. He was one of the worst mistakes our University has ever made, and I'm glad he isn't our problem any more.

It would be wonderful if this could be the AD's way of ridding himself of the trash before he ever coaches a game. From Penthouse to outhouse in the span of a few months.

It seems like USC and Kiffins disregard for following the rules has caught up to them. I just read on ESPN where the Titans filed a lawsuit today seeking a jury trial and punitive damages and attorney’s fees. Kiffin should have known better than to go after one of Coach Fishers staff without first notifying the Titans and Fisher. I believe that USC will regret this hire before the end of season. Maybe the state of Tennessee will get some revenge on Kiffin and company.:the_finger:

What was I thinking ?

I should have bought a piece of firelanekiffin.com right after those usc idiots hired him.

Could've gotten in for pennies !

Should've put my money where my keyboard/mouth is.

Haden would probably cut the cord tomorrow if he was relatively sure he could land a name coach such as those who were mentioned before Kiff became a last resort. But, time is probably not on his side to do that at the moment with the season just around the corner, although an interim coach could be used if Haden wanted Kiff out. Kiffin is pretty stupid, but he probably has just enough sense now to keep that big mouth closed, especially if he has been directed to do so by Haden.

anyone here know (or able) how to turn a PDF into a word document or postable text?(assuming doing so with a site's PDF is allowable)

It probably doesn't matter the guy can't help himself. It won't be his coaching at SC that gets him fired anyway, it will be his antics and mouth.

The state court (per the lawsuit) apparently is allowed legal jurisdiction over Kiffin because of his residence in the state from Dec 2008 to Jan 2010 (apparently he stills owns property there); his working at UTK; his contacting of 5 coaches who were residents of and employed in the state of Tennessee; and since he has engaged in business and commerce within the state
