QD and Tamba’s situation aren’t really the same. I’m not sure why the idea of QD getting a redshirt seems to bother you. There is a very realistic chance he gets one. No guarantee, but a strong chance. You just need to accept that.

He entered today, but it was announced a few days ago he was planning on transferring. It's not him.

Nothing against Edwards but he brings the highest level of uncertainty to the lineup next year and in a pretty important position. While would be great for him to be a contributor right out of the gate I think it would alleviate some pressure on him and give him some time to develop.

Just sh*t posting here but I wonder if some donors are fed up with Barnes lack of tourney succes, as is myself and are threatening to pull $ so they're being told the roster is being upgraded.
Or they're being told and asked for more $ for NIL deals (more likely)
