I used to be fairly neutral on LSU athletics. Actually their fans were mostly comical and fun when they’d have away games in Knoxville. Pistol Pete is my favorite non-TN SEC player. But after Wade, Ogre, and Anthony Jordan I’m enjoying witnessing them crashing and burning.

You’d be unhappy with a Sweet 16 because it’s not an Elite Eight. You’d be unhappy with an Elite Eight because it’s not a Final Four. You’d be unhappy with a Final Four because it’s not the championship game. You’d be unhappy and critical of losing in the national championship game. You’d be unhappy winning the NCAAT if there wasn’t a repeat.

Nice post. It made me laugh.

I have to admit...sometimes I catch myself resembling the first few examples you cite. I just stop myself from actually posting my thoughts during those times...:)

Nothing against Edwards but he brings the highest level of uncertainty to the lineup next year and in a pretty important position. While would be great for him to be a contributor right out of the gate I think it would alleviate some pressure on him and give him some time to develop.

As a big Barnes supporter, I’d be furious if we pursued a guy like Wheeler.

Really doesn’t bring much to the table. He can’t shoot, turns the ball over in transition, can’t play a lick of defense.

There’s much better options.

He did lead the league in assists. Like yourself, I wasn’t overly impressed. Thought KC clearly outplayed him whenever they were matched up. He could be effective driving to the basket against slower guys but he couldn’t against our pg’s
