Football is irrelevant in terms to this convo. Barnes has said in the past if a guy makes NIL his main priority that's a "red flag". You simply can't make public comments like that. And Compared to other schools basketball NIL is just not there. Arkansas has a Walmart NIL deal, Kentucky has car dealership NIL deals ect. Merchandise and a simple Ad isn't enough.

They took mediocre post players in the portal from Rhode Island and they wanted Aimaq bad, so yeah I think they care.

None of those high school recruits play in the post and they’re losing Williams to the draft.
