Not BTO, but the staff feels good about Phillips. The problem is they felt good about him the first time around and he chose LSU. FWIW, FSU also thought they were getting Phillips the first time. So I wouldn't trust any news on him until he signs.

I'll be shocked if we get Murray. I said a couple weeks ago that he was going north and leaving the SEC. I still think that is the case.

Thanks, that is what I was fearing about Murray and I really hope somehow Phillips chooses UT this time

Pretty much echo…

Murray still seems like Georgetown, Tennessee staff felt they had a good shot and are in it but that’s happened plenty of times, this seems like another one of those.

Staff feels good on Phillips and Spyre has put together a really nice deal for him, Tennessee is confident but they’ve felt good with him before, so we shall see.

Sweet, Spyre putting together a deal for him is great news. I know that doesn’t mean we necessarily land him but I think that’s good news

But I was just told in this very same thread that UT's NIL game is not up to snuff with basketball

No you weren't lol if you wanted to actually have a convo about it, you wouldn't have come out swinging with posts clearly meant to inflame and call out people for being "sunshine and rainbows."

A true "conversation" requires two sides to listen. You haven't shown you even care about doing that. It's been all "I guarantee I'm right" and "there's zero chance this happens."

I love Barnes and what he accomplished last season with the team. However this is a critical juncture we HAVE to get some difference making portal players or it could be a rough go next year.
