Haha I know its not likely just putting it out there. I know they tried like heck to get into big east, even hired the former comish. And fred smith offered oodles of money.

Mizzou or VT would be the be the best options (though I still have a harder time seeing VT up and leave the current ACC just from an invite)


Getting both (if 16 teams is truly the end target) would be big

I for one like this move. I like the Aggies programs they are clean cut and honorable to the way they do things. Not only does it give a better gateway to TEXAS recruiting it will go a long way to make sure that the SEC stays the TOP conference in college football. The negatives to this is the SEC is already tough and hard to go through unbeaten anyways. Now that being said who else would be coming with them? Mizzouri i don't think wants to be in this conference. Maybe Oklahoma but that is a toss up. My bet is Clemson or Va.Tech. And I'll explain why. SEC will be bringing in a team from the west and the only way that would make sense is to bring a team from the East. Travel expenses and hotels for teams to stay in add up. It just makes more sense to me that it will be someone from the East that we take after A&M. By the way congrats to A&M fans. Now you will get to see what football is really about and not be The other Texas team. My gut tells me if you come to the SEC you will be the premiere team in Texas. So goodluck and I'll reserve the name calling until you are actually announced as the next member of the Best Conference Go Vols:loco:

Mizz makes the most sense financially since you add the KC and St Louis markets. All the rest bring nothing

Agree with these 3, just dont see any ACC schools coming in, the BIG 12 is on its way to non existence
