Not only are these numbers relative, but numbers do not correlate with "invasion".

As for the numbers part: 12 million is less than 4% of our population. By your standards, the mass immigration at the turn of the 20th Century was an invasion on a much larger scale.

Invasion: (n.) 1. an act of invading, especially: incursion of an army for conquest or plunder; 2. the incoming or spread of something usually hurtful

So, the onus is now to prove that the sole reasons for their immigration are for either conquest or plunder (taking what is not rightfully theirs), or prove that these immigrants are "usually hurtful", wherein usually would have to include greater than 50% of said immigrants.

I assume that you must be familiar with the notion of "privileged access to truth". Glad to know that the only people that can actually think on and discuss this issue are people who live in border states, though.

If that is the case, then I guess Senators and Representatives from the other 46 states should just go ahead and stop funding ICE.

I didn't say that. Its every one's issue in the end. Its a matter of State legislation to dictate terms though. Or at least it should be.

You all pay for what we face. One way or the other, but you wouldn't take the word of someone who read about it as opposed to someone on ground zero would you?

They all matter PJ. I'm lost as to why we're involved in the seemingly endless loop, but to clarify for the final time, I'll play along. Everyone in the country is effected, some of us face it on different levels.

That was my point. I'm concluding that the way I presented it seemed harsh. I guess I used too big of a brush to paint with.

Yeah it's a real shame there isn't still slavery, persecution of Jews or brutal gladiatorial spectacles for the amusement of the rich there....

If you don't believe their is an abundance of anti-semitism and human trafficking in Rome, then you should visit for a month or two.

Also, as simply a correction of fact: all classes attended the Circus Maximum and the Colosseum.
