Hopson was supposed to be, if I am not mistaken I think Hopson was higher ranked the Tyreke. Tyreke is a great ball player, I enjoy watching him play, he gets better every game and has done all this through a position change.
Attack the point, not the poster please.
If you enjoyed ANY of the past 3 years in basketball, then you should probably keep your mouth shut. Especially when you claim you could have done a better job. There is a reason Pearl is making 2 million dollars a year and you aren't.
UCLA has lost 3 of their last 4..guess they got a crappy coach too!! Right??
He has a little bit better track record than Bruce does, I like Bruce, dont get me wrong, I think he is doing a great job. I dont want anybody to get the wrong idea, I think Bruce is doing a great job. Bruce has done a good job. Dont get me wrong I like Bruce, I am just disappointed with the way things are going. I think Bruce is a good coach, I hope he stays for a long time. Dont get the wrong idea, Bruce is good, Howland has a little better track record.
Thats on the coach to say that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Step up pearl put your foot down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! kansas lost its starting 5 abd beat us like a drum. memphis beat us on our home floor. better point from somebody eles????
Thats crazy. Coach Pearl had to grab a PG at the last minute and thats the position that we needed to fill most. After that, its just been a snowball effect.
I only wish that he would go crazy on one of our players after a bone head play or after that player getting a little lazy. I don't care who it is, just bench that player for the rest of the game and put the fear in the rest of the players. The lack of heart is on the players end, Coach Pearl sure doesn't stop coaching before the game is over, some players stop playing.
Wasn't the Ole Miss guard who torched us a Freshman (or Sophmore) that we didn't even offer?!?!
The difference between Ole Miss and UT...we make the NCAA tournament and they don't.
Oh, by the way....
Strength of schedule: #3
RPI: #18
Once again, I think we are doing decent considering our youth. We flat out don't match up well against Kentucky, and we don't have a 3 point shooter. In time, this team will win the close games like we did the past 2 years. There is no need to start calling for Pearl's head right now. In 5 years if we stink and don't make the dance, then you can call for his head. But to do it right now, IMO, is a little premature.
Speaking of playing like a freshman, Wayne Chism played like one today. When is somebody going to tell him he is not a 3-point shooter?
