That's racist!

But I really don't see how anyone can deny the benefits of being a white male. I don't think that I have ever interviewed for a job I didn't get. I always was able to rent a house or an apartment no matter how bad my credit was. I am not going to return the perks I enjoy, but I am also not going to deny getting them.
This is the dumbest **** you have ever posted on this board. I am literally shocked that you, of all people, posted this. I would expect ridiculous **** like this from Luther, but not you.

Really you don't believe he would say this? Like his party he has to continue to move further left just to keep up with the base.

No one believes that. What is believed is that the right has a much higher percentage of racists among it's members as does the left. The way I prefer to look at it is that the average person who identifies with the right has a higher level of racism than the average person identifying with the left.

My problem with this argument is that so many believe only white people can be racist. If your argument is that the GOP has a higher percentage of racists that are white, then I don't disagree. If we're talking about racism across the ethnic spectrum, then I honestly believe racism is more prominent in the Democratic party. The problem with discussions as related to race, IMO, is that people seem to only want to discuss the idea of white people that are racist while ignoring there are some in other ethnicities that hate white people simply because they are white. It's all racism and it all perpetuates hate.

I agree with most everything you said. That's why I say everyone is on the continuum somewhere between 1 and 99. There are plenty of non-white people who would fall in the high degree of racist category. I firmly believe there is a much larger ratio of high scorers among the right. We disagree on that point. I'm sure we're both a little bit wrong and a little bit correct.

Of course you do. That doesn't make you any less wrong. Stating you knowingly align yourself with the known party that is more racist isn't to be expected.

Nor does it make me less right. No one is going to agree and neither side can be proven or disproven. The right is known as the more racist party for a reason. Stereotypes are almost always rooted in a degree of truth. The stereotypes of the left being lazy and wanting to take from other people's successes are no more true or untrue than the stereotypes of the right being kind of dumb and racists.

This straight cracks me up.

He doesn’t even realize the irony and hypocrisy in his own post.

Great one luth. I needed a good laugh

So we can't prove it or disprove it, but your still going to call it a known?

And then you use dumb as a stereotype for the other side?

Color me not shock, but laughing.

Do you use "lazy" for the left? How about "freeloaders"?

The commercial is designed to make people believe that all illegal immigrants are murderous unrepentant scumbags. It is designed to make people believe a stereotype. It is a racist commercial.

Or it's simply designed to point out the pitfalls of illegal immigration. If they come into the country illegally, what do we know about them? Well, obviously they're criminals because they couldn't obey the laws to begin with. I can agree not all illegal immigrants are violent criminals, but they are criminals. Do we not expect people that want to be Americans to obey our laws?

IMO, those on the left look for racism everywhere(but in themselves), so it's not surprising they find it. That's not to say the right is innocent, but the left is far more likely to use racism as a weapon. Socially, I question what that accomplishes. I believe the left rank and file have good intentions, but the left leadership does not. They use it to fire up their base but have no intention of seeking resolution. IMO, screaming racism has been reduced to a scare tactic. Far simpler to scream "racism" than actually look for deeper causes.

Thats about all he's good for anymore.
He actually was interesting to debate and question for a short time. His integrity fell apart in short order.

What the hell does that have to do with the idea you can't prove or disprove an idea but you in your elitist perch can still call it a known?

Not that the irony flew completely over your head or anything.

But for what reason? Is it because it actually contains more racists, or because the Dems were the first to come up with weaponizing racism? Ask yourself, is either party actually working toward eradicating racism? I certainly don't think so. This shouldn't be about pandering to stereotypes.

I haven't heard many people argue for allowing them all in, but when you attempt to create a stereotype depicting them all as murderous thugs that is bigoted. Out of the 1000s of people in that caravan, I am sure there are lots of criminals, but the vast majority are simply looking for a better life.

But are they obeying the laws we have in place to do so? If they are not, then they are indeed criminals. I understand seeking a better life. I have compassion for their plight. But there is a wrong way and a right way to go about entering this country. I don't believe marching en masse to our border is the right way.

I have a hard time with this whole argument, as it’s apparent we all do. Unfortunately, it looks as though attempts to divide us, the populace, for the gains of the “governing class” are working. We can no longer look at each other as children of God, brother and sisters, because religion is being/has been marginalized. We can no longer see each other as fellow Americans, because America is now mine or yours and not ours.

We are being bamboozled. Right, left, and center by those is the “governing class.” They are no longer representatives of the people or of the States all working together to better the Republic. Rather, they are individuals working for their team against the other team, to beat the other team into submission, so their team can control the republic.

Gone are the days when compromise meant both parties walked away feeling f***ed and the country moved forward. Now it’s either win or lose at all costs and no one is actually accomplishing anything.

Anyway...
