well Knoxville was outta the picture after I visited and some relatives fed me fruit salad made with mayonnaise
Gainesville? I begged the judge not to send me to that disgusting swamp
you have not demonstrated that in any way
is not being able to pay for nutritious food or safe housing different for people in the same area/same income but with different skin tone?
I can hardly think of a more divisive approach to addressing a problem than the one you are advocating
Gentrification. The sheer number of underprivileged black vs. white. Reparation sentiment. These facts do not require demonstration
The only thing discussions on racism has taught me is that many people think it's okay to hate white people because of the color of their skin. It's as if they can't see they are what they claim to hate. People have corrupted the word "equality" so damn much that they have no idea what it really means.
First we must identify which systems are inherently racist and what mechanisms are being used. We've done some of this. The problem is systemic racism isn't the main issue facing people of color, poverty rates, crime etc. The systemic racism of the past explains in part how we got here today but it isn't the factor that turns the corner. To pretend it is the main factor will only ensure people of color remain pawns. Please tell us how you beat systematic racism. Some of us have been waiting quite some time for this golden answer
Not equally in Oakland.Gentrification impacts white and black.
Depends on what the sentiment is based on.Sentiment doesn't justify discrimination.
The need is still not equal and the displacement has disproportionately affected black people.there are less than 2.5x as many underprivileged black than white and still near 11K underprivileged white.
why not help everyone?
