The 1/6 Hearings

But you knew there was property damage from those riots, correct? That's what a riot is. Did you just assume that there would be no damage from people storming the Capitol?
Not at all just hadn't hear a number...focus seemed to be on the officer who was killed the. The truth came out...then it was they forced themselves in, they came video of officer escorting the rioters, and opening doors....then it was why was then police force understaffed....etc....so numbers were not that prevalent...and now if you try to do an unbiased google search for that info...you get puffed up opinion pieces with very little hard numbers but ilI digress....i will find the info eventually. Thanks for the push on the search for truth

It's a problem on both sides. But many Trump fans just now give a **** and have not denounced his comments about rioting. Seems to me they only give a **** when it's one of there's. And yes there are many on the left who have no problem with her being killed but champion others. Hypocrites all around. I try to call both sides out when I see it.
And that's the thing. It's not a phenomenon unique to Trump supporters, yet many act as if it is. A lot of people act as if they've never seen this behavior before, but we've been seeing it from Dems and Pubs for decades.

If you're sincere, you're welcome. Both the Dems and the Pubs are guilty of acting in bad faith. It's hypocrisy to attempt to only hold one side accountable.

Amen to that... its a matter of personal morals.. and where you land..

My personal morals echo George Washington. Both parties are corrupt and together are dividing and destroying the nation. Be it purposely or just through their non-stop quest for control and power. I have no use for either party.

Look man it’s just this simple for me. After watching our cities burn for months in 2020 when the shoe goes on the other foot on Jan 6 and now it becomes a big deal!? F$&@ that. I was numb by that point so when that happened their crying fell on deaf ears. Anybody that entered that building or laid hands on an officer should be charged according to their actions (and only their actions not inflated like we see on the DC corrections people in solitary) and prosecuted. Then move the hell on. That’s it. I don’t care what Trump said. I don’t care about any of the D’s crying. Just end the damn drama and move on. We’re stuck on reliving this drama bull **** over and over while ignoring an entire year of destruction. That’s bull ****.

Sure. But there's an added layer of hypocrisy here. Trump, and his supporters, have pretended to be the most pro cop people on earth. They aren't here. Which they shouldn't be. But they also openly mock the Capitol cops.

I’ve talked to a few cops that “openly mocked” those Capitol cops too. Their “testimony” was pure staged theater.

The people who stormed the Capitol committed a crime. I'm not sure how that's even an argument. How severe a crime is up for debate. Not nearly the **** storm Dems have made it out to be (for purely political reasons), but also not a nothing burger like the Pubs are trying to make out. Punish the offenders in a reasonable manner. Not everything needs to be a political witch hunt. Both parties are ramping up their bases to where they're frothing at the mouth, and some of you guys, on both sides, have bought in. Calm your tits already.

Since when is it a crime for people to be "where they aren't supposed to be"? We've got millions of them that the dems aren't upset about. Since when is it a crime for people to be anywhere as long as they are there to express "free speech"; it hasn't put thousands or tens of thousands in prison over the last few decades. How about some consistency.

How many of those cops have ever faced what those cops did? My brother is a retired cop. A professor at UGA. Former GBI agent. And owner of several business. He's never seen anything like that.

That's piss poor. You can't accept poor behavior bc you witnessed the other side do it. Be pissed and angry at both. It's not hard. The acceptance is why we are where are at

At the end of the day we have millions who think it's ok for a POTUS to say shoot them. How is that not crazy word?

Didn't he explain what he meant that comment to be??? Poor taste nonetheless but didn't the looting and rioting lead to deaths on innocents and several were shot, making what he said true but in poor taste given its history

One was a combat engineer in 5th Marines and helped retake Fallujah. And he is undercover and handles some rough people regularly. I’d guess I can trust his opinion.

No man. We are where we are because the assholes in DC won’t let the country move on. That guy isn’t in office anymore and I didn’t listen to him much when he was and even less now.

Trespassing is a crime.

Jump the gate at the WH and there's a high likleyhood you'll wind up in Federally issued bracelets for "being where you're not supposed to be." Telling the 1A sent you is not an acceptable response.

Marines are tough, not bright.

You mean, when they had rocks and bricks thrown at them? No, that was during the summer. I know, when they had fireworks thrown at them? No, that was during the summer also. You must mean when cops were shot and police cars were burned? Again, that was during the summer. What do you mean exactly?

If your brother thinks the violence at the protest on 1/6 was anywhere near the most violence at any protest that occurred in 2020 or in the history of this country, he's either biased, ignorant, or just flat out lying.

I loved the one guy who was clearly 40 something and had never been called a racial slur till that day
...proving that USA isnt a racist country..but Dems don't realize they try to prove 1 point while contradicting an earlier point. Lol

Fatal shooting in Portland

Aaron "Jay" Danielson, 39, was shot to death on Aug. 29 in Portland. Danielson, of Portland, was part of a group of people who described themselves as Trump supporters who came to Portland en masse and clashed with protesters. Friends said he was also a supporter of the right-wing group "Patriot Prayer."

Last Thursday night, a 48-year-old Washington man wanted in Danielson's death was fatally shot when a federal task force comprised of FBI and U.S. Marshals attempted to arrest him. Authorities allege the suspect, Michael Reinoehl, pulled a gun on the federal agents as they moved in to take him into custody in Lacey, Washington.

Why haven't there been congressional hearings on all of the senseless riots across America where at least 25 people were killed/murdered, where police departments were told to stand down, and an UNARMED woman was shot and killed by a policeman?
Because the politicians weren’t there when these happened. They are showing how out of touch they are in making a big deal of something that happened to them while denying the bad that happens to us peasants.
