One thing about Calapari is that he's an elite recruiter, but an average coach. With all the talent he had this year, you'd think he'd least make it to the NCAA tournament but instead he gets beat in the first round of the NIT. With all the talent he has coming in this year, there shouldn't be any excuse for him to not make the NCAA tournament. It also depends if his players can work together and not be selfish which I highly doubt that they will. I mean for lords sake, some of his players think they can take MJ 1 on 1. If Calapari fails like he did this year, UK fans aren't going to be happy with him at all!
I agree. What has also been forgotten about FSU is that his teammate, good friend, and fellow Canadian XRM is also headed to FSU.
For what it's worth, Wiggins' high school coach was on the radio in Louisville (KSR) last Thursday and he thinks if Wiggins were going to FSU he would have committed there by now. His coach went on to say that he hates disappointing friends and may be waiting until nearer the end of school before giving his friend the bad news.
If Kentucky misses the 2014 Final Four, the bulk of the team leaves for the Draft, and the 2014-15 team is on the same Bubble that '13 UK was on before Noel's injury, I think a lot of UK fans will be unhappy with the overall returns.
That's true of any UK coach, no Kentucky team should ever be on the bubble
I'm tired of thinking about Wiggins...wake me up when he commits (to UNC)
Hopefully anywhere but. UNC would make a lot of sense for him though.
Maybe his parents are still trying to get him at FSU. I feel that may be holding him back. He should have committed to either UNC or UK by now because the team is settled (guys going nba, staying, or others committed). Wiggins will probably knows where he wants to go, but still is holding back.
