"I’m going to try my best to rehab to get it ready for spring training and we’ll see how it feels after that."

I'd like to see him come back, but this does put Wren in a pretty impossible position as far as planning for 3B in 2011.

Just so I don't get falsely accused of 2nd guessing or getting on here and complaining about Bobby's dumbass decisions after the fact, consider this me "1st guessing." I can't support anything that jackass wearing #6 decides in our dugout. 91 flawless Tim Hudson pitches and he can't go the 9th? You're kidding.

Come on.

Hudson could probably go back out there, but with back to back left handed hitters due up . . . Billy Wagner in the bullpen . . . It's a pretty understandable move to make.

Only 91 pitches and he was still in absolute command. So you bring in a closer who's been blowing a game or two a week for a month. Idiocy.

Especially considering the run of games coming up without an off day. Why unnecessarily go to the bullpen? That's the Bobby way.

In this case I could not care less of what hand they hit with...Hudson has been dominant all game and Wagner has been pitching like Jose Canseco lately.

Racking my brain here....On the subject of Braves complete games...Has any Braves pitcher thrown one this year??

I cant for the life of me remember even one.

Hanson got a cheapie in a rain shortened game (5 or 6 innings). Other than that I don't believe so, but I could be wrong.

I looked it up and Hudson has one too (for the life of me, I can't remember it). Nobody in the NL has more than 5 . . . except for the Phillies who have 12.

He'd gotten those lefties out all night, and Wagner's been shaky lately. Hudson should have gone back out to start the 9th. And if a move had to be made -- and Cox had any stones -- then he should have gone to Venters. That one-run lead was too important to put in the hands of a guy who's giving up baserunners at the rate Wagner has been lately.

First of all, I would have liked to have seen Hudson finish, but we really don't know whether the move was made due to pitch count, fatigue or matchups. All I was saying was that move made sense on some level.

As far as who to go to in the 9th - I'll still take Billy Wagner throwing gas every time. He hasn't been quite as dominant since the All Star break, but I think if you look at the stats the past couple of weeks, Wagner hasn't really been as bad as you might think.

I agree with this. With a tight division lead, every blown slave is amplified and people really vilify the closer. Sure he's blown some saves, but he's been the victim of some swinging bunts, shoddy defense, etc.

My disagreement comes from us having 2 complete games all season (as just pointed out), the back end of a bullpen that consists of a couple guys around 40 and Jonny Venters who pitches every day. If Huddy doesn't ask out of the game there, let him finish. We have 13 straight games in 3 different cities. We aren't blowing any one out. Wags can't go out there every day.

Prado felt more pain after trying to take BP this afternoon.

IDK if everyone has just been assuming that Prado will come back at 100%, but it's understandable that he wouldn't after breaking a finger. Or at least that it will take a lot longer than 15 days.

We need him at 100%.

Does anybody have ATT U-verse or whatever it's called?

I have Comcast right now, I don't know if that's in ATL, but long story short it sucks dealing with them. But I do have SportSouth, Fox Sports South, and CSS (which picks up the Peachtree games) all in HD. So, I get every Braves game in HD.

Looking over the ATT stuff, they don't have CSS. Since the Braves play about half their games on Peachtree, I was wondering if ATT picked that up on a channel in their sports package?

Only because Halladay throws one every other game that he pitches. It's ridiculous.
