They said Heup couldn't recruit, especially on the defensive side.

We should be good along both LOSs. That helps cover up deficiencies elsewhere. I think we're OK at WR, RB, and LB.

The secondary is a giant question mark, but all the guys from last year who left were terrible.

LBs should be fine. Secondary, yes. Huge questions. Hopefully having a consistent pass rush covers up any mistakes there.

IMO, they only got really bad late last season after multiple guys got hurt. I thought they were OK until then, even though Pili went down in the opener.

McCoy should be legit. Gibson has a ton of potential. I agree the safeties are a major concern but I’m hoping a legit pass rush will help alleviate some of that secondary

McCoy is solid, Gibson should have a breakthrough and apparently Matthews had a great summer. I also think Boo Carter is too good to keep off the field for long.

BUT … lot of ifs. The DL is going to be hell for teams so that’ll amplify the rest.

He’s not perfect but given the offensive style he has to support and the personnel/injuries..
