PJvol.... your silence is deafening....

I'm sorry I can't watch the video at work (some of us have real jobs). I was thinking of a different play but even the pics you put up show nothing that would change anyone's mind. How many straws you got in your hand now?

Actually whether or not the ball was droped or not really doesn't matter because he picked it back up before it went out of the endzone and recovered it. In the OP it was said it went out of the endzone but I do not see any evidence og that from the video, but the OP states that to with no photos.

This could be a really good game Saturday, but fans that already make excuses for their team loosing are not fans.

I'm talking about a play in the Bama/SC game.... do you have a comment about what this thread is about?

I just commented on the reason that you stated for posting this stupid thread in the first place. You are worried about us getting screwed by the refs.

Let me end this nonsense...when the little man in the black and white striped shirt raises both hands straight up in the air...it's a score...now let's move on, there is nothing to see here...

Reading the OP would have prevented this :eek:k:

My point of this thread (I would advise you to read the OP real quick) is to show how this play went unnoticed and un-reviewed and I’m hoping the same doesn’t happen when UT plays them.

but even the pics you put up show nothing that would change anyone's mind.

so the pics I posted justify a non review? Let me get this straight, you're saying it was so clear cut a TD, that no review was necessary?

Maybe this pic will help you with your answer...

YouTube - Alabama vs South Carolina Highlights

Watch at 2:30 to 2:38 and tell me he doesn't score a touchdown. If that doesn't look like a touchdown to you, you have larger problems to worry about the officiating on Saturday.

The problem is that video doesn't show the whole story. In the broadcast they showed another angle from the wire cam above the field and its not so clear whether or not it was a TD. I won't argue whether or not it was a TD, but I do know its not as cut and dry as you want to make it.

All I've done is copy, paste, and add a circle around the ball.

I'm saying nothing you have posted backs up your point in any way.

I can't watch youtube at work.... I can and did watch the play on SEC Digital network and came away with the same conclusion... It was a questionable call the was not reviewed. What do you think about the screen captures I posted? If that doesn't look like a questionable touchdown that should have been reviewed, you have larger problems to worry about than the officiating on Saturday.

The ball was clearly kicked by a AL player and the momentum carried it out of the end zone.

Thanks for the grammar help. You can be sure I will now return the favor at every turn.

It was a touchdown. There was an official standing five yards away on the goal line, leaning forward, carefully making sure of that fact he was even standing to the right of the ball carrier, on the side the ball was being carried as he crossed the plane. Watching it in the video, it's plain as day that he scored the touchdown. It's not even questionable. Well, logically I mean.

Please show where the ball went out of the endzone. PLEASE, PLEASE,PLEASE. No pics you shown demonstrates the ball going out. So show your evidence.

BTW we won by 14 not 7.

Let me clarify the reasoning of this thread....

First the OP:

The Bama INT returned for a "TD" against SC...
....was not a touchdown. The defender dropped the ball just before he got into the end zone and it was kicked out of the end zone by a bammer.

I can't imagine how on earth that play wasn’t reviewed. But then I remembered, it happened at BDS...

What does this have to do with UT? It's going to be hard enough beating the bammers in crimson, let alone the guys in black and white stripes this Saturday.

Does anyone else remember that play?

A) I wanted to see if anyone remembered that play and thought the same thing I did, "Wow, he dropped the ball before entering the end zone, that's going to suck for them if they rule it a fumble resulting in a touchback.... ok, where's the review..... no review? WTF?"

B) I simply made the comment it's going to be hard enough beating AL let alone the refs.... I'm just stating I hope the game is called fair and missed review on the play I’m speaking of doesn’t give me much confidence in that happening.

I'm not blaming an impending loss on the refs, I’m just creating conversation about this questionable play. That’s all.

BH that was an awesome video! Not just because it was highlighting the Bama accomplishments, but it was put together very well. Did you edit it?
