The Bama INT returned for a "TD" against SC....

...was not a touchdown. The defender dropped the ball just before he got into the end zone and it was kicked out of the end zone by a bammer.

I can't imagine how on earth that play wasn’t reviewed. But then I remembered, it happened at BDS...

What does this have to do with UT? It's going to be hard enough beating the bammers in crimson, let alone the guys in black and white stripes this Saturday.

Does anyone else remember that play?

EDIT: Added photo's for clarification.

Yea, lol at your silence. Didn't think you would reply with anything of substance.

sorry, but i didn't really feel the need to since i already knew what your response would be like if i did...so i didn't feel like wasting my time like i probably am already by just being in this thread. to answer your question though, the last 7 pages of this topic would be a start.

I'd take cash considerations.

Hell I'd even take a complimentary order off McDonald's dollar menu.

2 pennies and a half of a Snickers bar and I'd take the deal.

Honetly, I'd take it without half the Snickers and still feel like I won.

Perhaps if they don't do their scouting we can ask for huge and get them to haggle us down to a great pickup.
Nothing like screwin' over the Bammers

Let's face it: alabama already has a surplus of intellectually challenged fans. Our best bet is to push gim off on south Carolina. They are in need of warm bodies as a fan base, he is already making a silly USCe-like argument ABOUT USCe, and cocks'#1fan has a ring to it.

pun?

Sorry UT#1Fan! I was obviously thinking of another play. Yeah I know... shoulda' read the title better. This is what happens when I combine senile dementia with OD'ing on Saturday college football. Expect the same this coming weekend. :mf_surrender:

No problem, it wasn't a play that was obvious when it happened. Thus why I started this thread....

Sadly a few orange kool-aid drinking trolls have infested it with their nonsense. Oh well, guess I shouldn't be surprised considering the culprits involved. I do find it funny that there is more acceptance of this oversight from Bama fans than some Vol fans... again, I understand why that is the case given which Vol fans are actually arguing otherwise....

Thanks for the grammar help. You can be sure I will now return the favor at every turn.

It was a touchdown. There was an official standing five yards away on the goal line, leaning forward, carefully making sure of that fact he was even standing to the right of the ball carrier, on the side the ball was being carried as he crossed the plane. Watching it in the video, it's plain as day that he scored the touchdown. It's not even questionable. Well, logically I mean.

lol about the grammar issue, it wasn’t a big deal, the only reason I fixed it was because I was about to quote it exactly in my post and didn't want the sentence to be grammatically incorrect. I’m would have surely been blasted for the error had I not fixed it. Didn't mean to hurt you feelings....

But let's not forget, you're the one that took this further than it should have gone. You’re the one that implied I had mental issues or whatever because I disagreed that it was a clear cut TD and felt the play should have been reviewed.

Just stop.
In other news, have you sold your S.Car. tickets yet?

There's more acceptance because they won the football game. Your "momentum" argument is weak. Did you see Stephen Garcia look like a deer in the headlights all night? Did you see Mark Ingram run all over the SC defense? Did you see the Bama defense squash any attempts by the Gamecocks to run the football? If McElroy didn't turn the football over a couple of times, the Gamecocks would have been luckier to hit the Powerball than to score at all.

All I’m saying is that it should have been reviewed. If this had happened to UT, it would be the talk of the town regardless of the outcome of the game.

I was just bringing it up, what's the big deal? Seriously, is it that time of the month for some of you? You guys are arguing this like some backwoods hillbilly bammer fans that are thinking I’m claiming USCe would have won had the play been reversed. I'm not. It was just an intriguing play that went unnoticed, un-reviewed and I’m just bringing attention to it. Since when is that a crime?

Every 3rd week of October, I bleed orange. If you want to refer to that as "the time of the month..."

It didn't go unreviewed. Every play is looked at. If the replay official had decided it warranted a second look, he'd have done so. When it comes down to it, either it happens or it doesn't. The fact of the matter is that Bama got it's kick team out there and kicked a field goal before the replay official could say to stop play.

This thread sucks.

The OP should go back to campaigning for Nick Stephens to be the starting quarterback. Those threads are fun as hell.

When was the last time you had a meaningful post?

I'll wait while you look for more meaningless statistics

This basis of this thread is meaningful. I brought attention to an error that went relatively unnoticed by most of the posters in this thread. It also apparently went unnoticed by the review booth. My point was to say, which was mentioned in the OP, I hope this doesn’t happen to UT. What is so bad about that? Nothing.

Who else do you troll?
