Heaps was the number 1 target at QB, and then he told the coaches that he loved UT but he had to put the lord and faith above football so he went to BYU. Bell didnt want to go far from home because of family situations like scroggins. Brunetti felt betrayed becuase he loved the vols but they didn't offer him earlier, but now that they are showing him the love and they want him as their QB, they are confident they can turn him.

No, we are not making to big of a thing about the relationship, just look at Scroggins and Bailey for example. There parents are VERY close, and coach Orgereon is very confident that Prater will be a VOL.

I get the impression that Bray is our #1 QB target and Brunetti is 1a, but have no sources to confirm that. I think we'd like to have both, though...and think we have a good shot to get both.

Agreed. I think the Ambles commit pushes Milton to commit early next week after his visit or this weekend. That leaves Prater and maybe Blake Sims and others as a third, so that takes care of the WR. I think we need one big time OL recruit to commit to get that ball rolling. In the end, I don't think we have a problem turning Brunetti, and I still think the big fish is a 2011 QB.

Edit: Pair, Jose and Fulton (should be a 4*) are pretty darn good OL.

Wow what a disappointing article by X. It was interesting that he summed up the depth charts of all those schools though. It really doesn't make since that some of those kids are going to those schools. We should definitely be able to flip someone.

I am starting to believe that there is no hidden commitment now.

Why were you disappointed by X's update...he never said, nor did Tony even hint, that he was going to reveal a potential big fish commitment. It was a good update with some good info.

Watching a few spring practices doesn't give you the insight to make these statements as facts.

You may be right. But, I suspect Reaves is more secure than some have potrayed at this time.

Realistically, as has been said before, Kiffin and Cheney will have the primary impact on determining which QB signs.

We have yet to begin Fall camp, so we don't know what impact Reaves will have on the season.

Also, Kiffin was in a similar situation as Reaves at USC and was allowed to prove himself. Family aside, I bet that experience is not lost on him.

Why do you have a need to knock the guy down for sharing hear say from a donor close to the program. He may not be John Madden, but any idiot can tell the difference between Mike Shula and Mike Ditka.
