Looks like UT Police were tipped off about the rally. They are already at the garage where it was planned.

It's worked for a lot of other coaches. Cal's denial that he knew Rose's brother flew numerous times on the team plan worked, as did his story from UMASS. Even Pearl's infamous taped student athlete conversation about being given money and a vehicle was overcome by the denial of the coach. The "who are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes" defense has a history of working with the NCAA .

The fact that people would have a pep rally for someone about to get fired for not only lying to the 'AA and having other people do it as well, they will have a pep rally for a coach that just absolutely got blistered by a Michigan team, whose roster is not even close to our size. Even if Pearl could stay, things wouldn't be the same, and parents nor kids would be able to trust a man who would be banned from recruiting them. Not to mention, they still have to rule on the assistants as well, so it's all a flustercuck.
