@Orangeburst .... "Snowflake" as an insult, has been used throughout the thread... always talking about some liberal who advocated for politically correct language. You can still have empathy and not be a snowflake.
What do you mean by "canceling Taco bell"? I ate a Chalupa Supreme with chicken from the one on Cedar Bluff yesterday at lunch. They aren't canceled... still serving the same cheap Tex-Mex junk they always have.Canceling taco bell because they donated to the republican party is racist? Lol come on man
Does racism exist in America? Yes
Do black lives matter? 100% absolutely
Is Taco Bell donating to the RNC racist? F@#k no
Cancel culture has to stop and I don't mean statues, etc. I mean canceling sh!t just because someone has a different opinion than you.
PC culture is out of control, period. Stop hiding behind it
Politically correct language is a millstone around the neck. As I understand snowflake it is those who freak out on free speech. Those who can't handle the stress of an adult conversation, someone having audacity to disagree with them and they break into screaming because they lack ability to have meaningful discourse. They have small emotional quotients which leads to an overload of 12 year old and peewee Herman like responses. Those who believe words are violence. Well, that's my definition.@Orangeburst .... We should just turn loose a whole bunch of southern style mommas armed with their favorite disciplinary tools on the rioters to deliver the azz whooping they all needed as children. We all know their kids aren’t out doing this crap.
WHERE'S MY WOODEN SPOON!!! Although, I might have to upgrade to Louisville slugger you know to balance things out since I lost my other equalizer in the great catfish incident of 2013.We should just turn loose a whole bunch of southern style mommas armed with their favorite disciplinary tools on the rioters to deliver the azz whooping they all needed as children. Interesting. So, by your definition, someone who sent a cease and desist letter to CNN, because CNN had the nerve to publish poll results which were unfavorable to him (even though, those results are consistent with a recent poll from Fox News, as well as other outlets), and this same person also filed a law suit to try to keep a book written by a former adviser, who is critical of him, from being published, would not only be someone who was trying to suppress free speech, but they would also qualify as being a "snowflake"? Especially, when this same person, consistently seeks retribution against his critics on social media, often by resorting to childish name-calling? Is that correct? John cleese likened those who use the word snowflakes to sociopaths trying to negate empathy.
I've used the word when it applies. I don't negate empathy because I see that necessary trait behind the best of intentions. I also have empathy which rules me out as a sociopath.
I have empathy and am not a snowflake. Thus my statement earlier.
So the word offends you? If someone called me a snowflake, I'd laugh.
The origin was from jigglypuff who lost her shyte at a college lecture because the speaker wouldn't use language she deemed appropriate. She called truth hate speech.
She commenced to screaming like a toddler throwing her arms up and down and stomping her feet. See the actual Jigglypuff in her natural form...

Impressive huh? That's jigglypuff, what a living doll. SJW Supreme. That's the tale of snowflake and the use of the word. I empathize with her parents even though they created this person.
Orangeburst has the right to use whatever style she wants to communicate. If she or I want to make fun of tantrums..meh... We're Allowed.
You can apply my definition to trump, be my guest. What rationale was contained in the cease and desist?Interesting. Oh, there were several ridiculous thoughts expressed. The one I remember the most was that CNN should have waited one more day to conclude their polling data, because the May jobs report was released that day and it contained better than expected numbers... as if CNN was supposed to know the jobs report was going to contain better than expected data, and that Trump gets to dictate when CNN's polling is conducted. Trump pretends to care about the 1st Amendment, but the truth is, Trump only cares about himself and those people who are willing to unconditionally support him.You can apply my definition to trump, be my guest. Yup that's not his decision. CNN can put out anything they want.Oh, there were several ridiculous thoughts expressed. There is no way that an actual attorney would stand behind that letter in a court of law.
Lol, I watched my next door neighbor chase his daughter around the yard for 20 minutes. He finally tired out and yelled " you have to come in the house eventually" It was like early YouTube.
They just get to squirming and flopping like crazy and you’re trying not to get spined and all sorts of things just start hitting the water
