What's the point in firing him if you have no one to replace him? At least in Minnesota, if they fire Brad Childress, they have a guy in Leslie Frazier who is capable of being a HC.

True, personally I don't care what they do, kinda damned if you do damned if you don't. I think Nick Saban would do a great job with the Boys.

If the Titans season blows up or we end up being one and done in the playoffs I could see Bud finally firing Fish. If that happens Jerry Jones will jump all over him. I've heard he has a man crush on Fisher.

The CBA is going to play a role in this. The Cowboys are terrible but Phillips is there through the end of the year.

I'm in the same boat with primetime over there. Jerruh hires another puppet and I'm done with the Boys until he no longer has decision making control over the team.

All the prime candidates are either in college or unemployed.

My guess is that Jones has Phillips fired effective at the end of the season.

Nothing constructive is going to get done, because 1) it's midseason and firing coaches midseason never gets anything done, and 2) the lockout could hamper things as well.

I agree its pointless to do this because, no offense to your team, no assistant coach is worthy of being promoted. Stick with Wade and make a sensible hire during the off season.

The whole staff is terrible. Every single one. They are all gone.

They need to keep Witten, Bryant, Austin, Ware, a few other key pieces and scrap the rest of the damn team.

If I were Jerry Jones I would try and get Mike Zimmer from Cincy, he is long over due for a HC job. I'm not sure how good of terms he left in Dallas but it would be a smart hire. I also would give Leslie Frazier a call too if Minny doesn't promote him to their head coaching job.

Also the team trainer needs to be who ever is giving Clay Mathews the steroids.
