Your right! Lets get rid of a guy who in the past 4 years has won 24.5 games a year, 3 sec east titles, and 1 sec outright championship. Oh and two of those years Florida won the National Championship. Your right...I am on board lets fire Pearl. Makes sense to me.

Do you think that his teams have generally improved or regressed since he stepped on campus?

Do you think that his style of play, transitional baskets and 3 point perimeter play, can win a NC?

Where have I ever said, lets get rid of the guy. I however see nothing wrong in wanting to see improvement and weaknesses addressed. Why is that a problem for you?

PS: What does an SECE Title look like?

Its amazing to me that many of the Fan Club think that we are just "mad" about the USC game, and not that Pearl's issues have been a problem for his tenure. They have really shown up the last 2 seasons, and that is with all of these guys that he recruited. The consistent outside shooting masked the issues to the average fan, but even now they are starting to see the terrible half court play on both ends. Then you have the rest that are just happy to make the tournament, so I guess Jerry Green was another great coach to them.

But it is sad that they are so enamored by a man who paints his chest and stands on chairs that they can't see the elephant in the room.

we don't have a coach. pearl is not a coach. look at the way his teams play... he can't coach players. he is a a promotional gimmick. he cannot coach. i would never come here if i was a serious baller hoping to get in the NBA. tyler had a better chance after his sophomore year. 2 more years under pearls pathetic "guide" has cost him a future as a pro. pearl is not a coach.

You just described the entire history of UT basketball. CBP has nothing to do with that. save for a very short list of notables, no one comes here for the NBA factory we have.

It looks like this: You have a better record than UK and UF. In my book thats good.

Also, everyone wants improvement. Get a real argument.

This from the guy four years ago was saying "we need an up tempo game and I am tired of Buzz's 1/2 court game, we need an exciting brand of basketball." Now he is jumping on the trend, we need to slow the ball down and play a 1/2 court game. I love your type, you live for sports, because you never played, and dont have a clue.........

Oh it has definitely regressed since he took over. I mean Peterson had this team clicking. Just in case you missed it, I am being sarcastic. I only point that out because you seem to miss a lot, like the shape UT was in when Pearl took over.

It's good to want more from this team and from this program. But remember no one, no one has taken UT basketball to a national championship level. In fact, not even to the Elite 8. I want to see the team advance further, but I'm not about to start calling for the head of the guy that got us to greater heights than the program has ever seen.

Give him a few years, and if he can't improve our tournament success, then I'll consider getting into the discussion of finding a replacement.

Wow....here they come the Pearl vs Fulmer comparisons. I would have never guessed you would have gone there. Keep grabbing on to those simplistic arguments based on emotions and ignore the facts and his record.
