The eternal QB debate (merged)

You just have to wonder when will the players get totally frustrated with Crompton's incompetance and begin to give up. At some point the team may implode from the frustration.

Correct; and JC is ranked better than NS. Show me something saying otherwise and I will gladly listen.

Stephens QB rating was better last year. Stephens QB rating is way better this year. QB ratings aren't hard to find. Click on the stats on ESPN.com and you'll find them.

OK... you never actually SAID it, but your posts certainly make it clear where your feelings lie. Personally I couldn't care less how you feel. The vitriol toward Cropmton in your posts is clear. And you DID in fact take 2 posts to respond to my one.. but nevermind. So.. in your opinion coach... changing to Nick will solve the quarterback problem? And you are basing this strategy on what intel? Have you seen the 2 of them in practice? I know your type. You are the whiny why-can't-we-win them all fair weather fan. And when things go south, you have to blame someone.. nevermind that there is really no one to blame.. but you can't handle that. So JC is convenient for your purpose. Yet again.. very sad.... for you. Oh, and I fail to see the irony of which you speak.

No doubt. As you once again try to put words in my mouth, I don't find it difficult at all to believe that you're not quick enough to pick up on the irony.

That's a valid concern but one that that Kiffin has likely addressed. This isn't the first time in college football that a team has had a bad QB while the rest of the team, for he most part, is pulling its weight. It will all work out. Maybe not this season but it will eventually work out.

If NS were any better than Crompton he'd be the starting QB. Period.

Kiffin wants to win as much, if not more, than anyone, and will do what's necessary to make that happen. If he really thought NS would win games, NS would be the starting QB.

Let's just agree and move on. :zeitung_lesen:

Dumbest post ever!

Really? Really, the dumbest ever? Huh. That's interesting seeing as how there are multiple threads about Kiffin not having any balls for not pulling Crompton. All the armchair coaches out there think that they know better than our head coach. "Put in NS so we can win some games, blah, blah, blah." It's such a tired argument and a waste of time.

But, I guess you've seen a lot of dumb post on here in the whopping 18 days you've been a member.

Thanks for joining sport. I'm sure you'll be a great contributor. Can't wait to hear more from you.

You are going to find people who disagree even with this.

As far as I can tell, the three arguments are:

1. Kiffin is afraid of scaring off recruits by playing a guy with any eligibilty left
2. Kiffin is too stubborn and cares more about being right than winning football games
3. Kiffin is an idiot

I think that covers it.

I hope it's none of the above, particularly #2 and 3. We've been there, done that.

:eek:lol:Yah i was listening to sports talk on 102.3 earlier today and a guy called in and stated "the team has a nickname for NS and its well known with the team. It's PicNick b/c he tosses about 7 interceptions every practice." I had to lmao b/c all the post about Nick being the "answer".:eek:lol:
