Have you tried going to a shorter putter shaft length.
It could help you get head over the ball, and help with your alignment.

I finally figured out that I had the opposite problem. I was standing to close to my putt, and because of the offset I was pulling putts left rather than coming straight through the ball.

Easy to get out of whack on setup, but putting you dominant eye over top of ball and being very meticulous about grip will generally get your body to the same position every time, so at least you're starting from the same viewpoint and setup. No guarantee to make, but will build in some consistency, which is what we're all after.

Putted today with a 33 inch Ping Anser with a lie angle 2 degrees flat - made 4 birdie putts. :yess: Played in under 3 hours, made putts and shot a number. It was a good day.

Well done.

33 inch putter and 2 deg flat - Wow. You either have long arms or stooped stance. which is it?

Congrats. Play King's North if you get the chance.

Have played it twice before and enjoyed it....it's a good track but probably not in my top 5 for the area. I'll be playing Tiger's Eye, Carolina National, Heather Glenn and Aberdeen this go around, all up north this time, more for cutting down on driving time than anything else although Tiger's Eye is probably my favorite layout of any course anywhere.

Way to go, guess you'll keep it in the bag

I'll wear high heels and putt with a 2X4 if it helps me make putts.

getting the ping g5 irons tomorrow...$300 from my brother, played with about 5 times. then i'm going to take a couple of lessons so i don't waste 'em shooting 98-108 every time i play.:dance2:

I'm with you. Most I talk to haven't played it. It's nowhere near the best in the area.

33" putter? Since when did you start putting with a long putter? You may need those high heels to keep a putter that long from knocking off your Adam's apple. :eek:lol:

Generally speaking, if you have to add your own smiley as a laugh, the joke probably wasn't particularly funny.

Don't worry, I know this guy personally. He's just bitter because of the annihilation he receives every time he tees it up with me. :)

...and no, his jokes are never funny.

Well GA, my 80 old grandad came up from Richmond Hill this weekend and beat me down on the golf course. He shot a 78 and I shot an 84. I did let him play the old man tees, but that doesn't help my self esteem one bit.

Especially with him. He is playing the front tees with a Callaway Ft-5 and he has added 3 inches to the shaft. He is 80 years old and hits the ball 225-235 down the middle every freaking time.
