The weather is just getting nice here, but the days are getting short, and there is football to be watched on the weekends. I expect to play a couple of my best rounds over the next month, then put the clubs away just as my game is rounding into shape so that I can undo all of the good habits I've developed during a winter of inactivity.
I don't really consider it an OK visit, just a trip to a very good, from what I hear, golf course. Looking forward to it greatly, except the OK part.Don't wear a TX jersey when you visit Oklahoma
This is the time of year for Southeastern golf. I'll at least hit balls every week. Headed to Ft Worth to play Colonial for 3 days in early Oct. Playing Karsten Creek next Tuesday and will give some feedback.
played there several years ago and I recall 3, 4 and 5 being brutally long, but it wasn't rolling much at the time.My brother just moved into a home at Colonial. Of course, it will be years before a spot opens up for him to join. If you haven't played there, you will love it. As you know, it is a "classic" old school club course where you don't have to hit it a mile.
Woody's such a lame brain that it probably doesn't matter who he's paired with.I read in SI where he's tweaked his set up with the driver.
He's gotten a little closer and a little more up right.
Woody's 3 back, and it will be interesting to see him play with Tiger, after the PGA Championship in Tulsa.
