You will love it. And take time to eat lunch in the bar area. Cool looking room with a nice view.
And someone asked about Camp Creek greens and tbh, I can't remember. It's been over a year and I was so.frustrated by the time I got to the greens that day I don't recall. CC is a course where you don't need a driver and I seldom hit anything but a driver. Not always smart of course, but I also do have a hole in one on a par 4, which I am very proud of. And the only hole in one on that hole since the course opened several years ago.

screw CC. They weren't that friendly the day we were there and that was prior to going private. Been to Sharks Tooth twice and they have been really friendly.

In my old age I'm playing better in the heat and hurting less in the evening. It was really hot today but played great and no fatigue.

Driver and putter are both really strong right now. Weak point for me right now is fighting hooks on mid irons. I can almost boomerang a ball with a 5 iron.

I got got a 5 wood to replace my hybrid for those 260 yard approaches. Hybrid hooked too much.

I tested them about a year ago. It's a nice looking club but honestly I didn't think it was as forgiving as advertised.

I guess I'll hit them at golf galaxy and see how they do. I was surprised last year how well the machspeeds performed in the simulator. May just play those for another season.

They weren't bad by any means. It just felt like the comparable TMs, Pings and Mizunos were just a little easier on me when I'd hit one a groove low or out in the toe.

spent the day at Pinehurst. Appears they are trying to dry everything out. Fairways look decent now, but are cut extra low and there's nothing but wasteland outside of the fairways. Fortunately, the fairways seem wider than many US Opens though.

There will be lots of brown that's that way by design. They re-irrigated the fairways so all the lush green is gone although the surfaces are immaculate. The waste areas & bunkers are blended together now & thankfully there will be a walking official with each group to avoid another PGA debacle.

It's not just that brown is popping up. It's how low the fairways are cut. I've putted on greens thicker than that. It's hot, humid and there's not much rain forecast for the next week here. Dried out fairways that could make the ball roll all over the place.
