Yeah, sly but we aren't playing from 4800 yards old friend.
I'm just messing with you of course. I can overthink the game. I dropped down to the lowest handicap I have been last year and it started when all I did was look at the back of the ball then hit it. I play a lot though and when a bad habit slips in it can take over my game. For some reason, I started pulling up out of shots. Have no idea why and couldn't stop doing it.
Shot my best ever nine hole score today with a 41. Par 35. I know it's not great but pretty decent for me.
Still have a habit of "casting" the club & digging a little bit which is super frustrating. No matter what I do I can't seem to get rid of it.
Has there been a pro that went from accurate driver off the tee to looking like he'd never swung before? If so, I'd like to read his story because I have gone from hardly missing fairways to not being able to hit one anymore. I dread the teebox. It's not fun to play with that in your head.
Playing TPC at Sawgrass Sunday. That's the player's championship course, including the infamous 17th island green.
Over/under on golf balls lost ?
See Woods, Tiger.
I don't think I've ever even thought about my legs other than making sure the weight is transferring and I'm not swaying. I'm sure they matter, but it doesn't enter into my thought process.Well whats interesting is the pro brought up Tiger the other day. I haven't seen Tiger since he came back, but he was referring to my legs/hips. I could hit it pretty good (260-280) for my size and age but it took a lot of timing, torque and aggressive legs/hips but as I age more and have had another surgery, I can't swing like that anymore and am having trouble adjusting.
And if I have to go to old man swing and just slap the ball I'm toast.
