I have played for 50 years, though very little the last ten or so. I have been a low single digit handicap the entire time, and I have never had a hole-in-one, and have only played with one person who has made a hole-in-one, and I usually played with really good golfers. My two biggest fears:
1. Hitting a hole in one without a witness
2. Hitting a hole in one on my third shot because my first went OB or in the water or the woods...
I've holed out from over 100 yards 3 or 4 times for eagle. It's just never been the tee shot on a Par 3.

I have had a couple of eagles on par 4's from 130 to 200 yards (number one hdcp hole). The reason that I am answering your post is because I did your number 2. I hit a 5 iron on a par 3 way left on an uphill blind par 3 in a strong right to left wind, and assumed it lost.
I teed up another, hit a perfect 5 iron, right at the flag. I went looking for my first shot, found it (unfortunately), and pitched it up to the green, eventually making a bogey 4. When one of my playing partners got to the green, my provisional was in the hole. I would have made a par if I hadn't found the first one.
I have a 78 yard hole out and one from 110. Only ace I've ever seen was on a worm burner that made it's way into the hole.
To go back to doozer's fears, I left a 158 yard par three tee shot a half roll from an ace. By myself. Funny thing was a mower was waiting for me to tee off and came leaping out of his seat because he thought it was going in and would've been my witness.

That's a bunch. Congrats on your two. The funny thing is that the one that I witnessed was on the same uphill, blind par 3 that I made my so called hole-in-one on. It is on a course that I haven't played a tremendous amount of times, and you can't see the ball go in the hole due to the uphill.I have witnessed 7 hole in ones, 2 of them being mine.
Congrats Vol in Air!
Several years ago, Boo was playing in the Knoxville Nike Tour event at Fox Den. I had never heard of him at that time, and knew nothing about him. I watched him hit balls on the range for several minutes, and made the remark to my brother that "this guy must not be able to putt a lick'" because he hits the ball as pure as anybody I have ever seen.Boo Freaking Weekley. Lighting up the golf course today. Ruined my plans for the day.
