The Golf Thread

He has always maintained he was close. I kinda believe him now.
A couple of things that you may want to consider. Tiger finished T10, and 31 of the top 40 players in the world weren't at Greensboro this week. He may be close....er, but not that close. Weak field, not a difficult course.
That golf course doesn't separate the really good from the not so good like a really hard golf course does.

We know. You don't like him.

You are right. I don't like him, but looking at it objectively, he's not quite there yet. I think that he will be back, but he still has a way to go. If he was on a tough golf course with all the top players , he would have done well to finish in the top 25 this week.

Cmon, man.

Ill be in the Destin, FL area Oct 13-18. No one I am going with plays golf, so if anyone is in the area and needs/wants an extra let me know. Also, course recommendations welcome.

The Bayou for cheap, Kelly Plantation for Moderate and The Raven for super nice

Played Baytowne this morning. Greens were meh, but I shot a 41 38 for a 79, pretty happy about that. Going to try and get a tee time for Bayou for tomorrow morning.

Jordan Spieth is flat out ridiculous right now. If he wins a major this year, I'd have to call it a Tiger-esque run.
