I can see how my statement can be interpret two ways.
The "I have no desire to find out" is not a dig at her, it's a statement that is makes no difference to me. Which when you think about, it a sign of acceptance, not rejection which is what you interpreted.

That was much more a result of the "Southern Strategy" employed by the republicans.
It speaks volume to both the Blue Dogs that left and the repubs for incorporating the strategy.

Southern strategy and GOP held Governorships and legislatures definitely played a part, but they also got tied to liberal policies and eventually were left behind. There's just not much room for conservative Democrats right now. They'll let a few get away with being pro 2A, but abortion, LGBTQ and ACA seem non-negotiable at this point.

A frame of reference for how far the right has went away form center, the previous two Republican nominees for President are now considered RINO's.

Can someone who is pro-choice still be a repub.?
Can someone who is for stricter gun laws still be a repub?

how is this any different from JFK, Clinton, even Obama in his 1st term who would be considered as having right wing opinions on certain topics such as gay marriage, abortion, policing, etc.

Have you seen Bills 95 speech on immigration ? Dino’s isn’t a thing for the left . I believe the new term is Neoliberal corporate centrist . Obama is steadily falling into that category with every passing year because of the running downhill toward socialism ideology the left is taking .
