The Impeachment Thread

Sure, they'll say that stuff. They say all kinds of stuff when campaigning.
And when they betray that confidence to such a point, his constiuency regrets putting him in office, is there any redress outside of waiting until the next election?

I have no problem answering the questions.
I would have been disappointed and immediately considered if he was running for reelection in a red leaning state.
If that was not the case (as with Romney), I would have been forced to accept the fact that he maybe actually voted his conscious.
I understand perfectly well that one man's hero is often another man's villain. It depends on perspective.
I would not think the person should be vilified and attacked and certainly not by the president of the same party.
I would hope that he was contested in the next election.

You say that as it should have sounded, and it would be correct if sincere. But, in my opinion, a Dem voting to acquit Trump would have sent you down the rabbit hole. The general consensus on Romney, right or wrong, is that he did not vote his conscious. Any other reason than that justifies the reaction he is getting.

Not at all. If Utah feels he's betrayed its interests, there are mechanisms in place for redress. My point is twofold, he's not simply a mouthpiece bc he is a representative; AND, i doubt he's removed.

Why would I take a loss when I destroyed you?
All you did was try to insult me and even failed at that. I'm sure people on "your side" will like your efforts.

BTW, where are those people coming to your defense.

I do apologize for insulting you, I shouldn't have stooped to that level. I do not apologize for handing you your azz.

Democrats arent real Americans. American in name only. They hate this country, the people here, and themselves.

Joking? So, my late Papaw who served in WW2 fighting the Japanese for 3 years falls into this category because he voted Democrat his entire life? I have always voted Republican but do not pass judgment on to others based on political affiliation. Believe what you want but that broad statement is out of line IMO.

Your grandfather would have 0 in common with today's democrat/socialist party

Indeed. In that generation alone was a group of special kind of people appointed & ordained by God Himself to come along at the right time in human history. No other generation has been more important to the world as a whole to stamp out hate and help to destroy the idea of World domination by other countries.

Dems 10 years ago don't have much in common with this current group of communists, the fine people of that era wouldn't recognize what that party stands for now
