That will work it is a Federal Border, not a Texas Boarder.
If Texas wants to control their portion of the border then remove the Federal Agencies, Staff, Federal Support and Funding. Let them handle it.
States don't get to part of the US on their terms. It is just part of the process... Succeed from the Union and handled it. No Representatives. No Federal Funding.

You give a simple answer & solution without thinking it through.

Yep, you are right that states don't get to leave the US on their own terms. That's a fact, Jack - absolutely proven. As far as feds giving, remember the feds take so they can give ... minus the bureaucratic overhead. Without the massive federal debt (some of which probably funds federal programs that benefit states), imagine what a state could do with the funding the US takes from the state in taxes. You seem to forget that the citizens of states are the ones who fund the federal spending that benefits the states. The flaw in the argument is that the huge federal bureaucracy eats up a lot of the extorted taxes to satisfy it's corpulence, and that federal spending brings with it federal rules that may suit some states but not others.

Are there benefits to having tiered governments and a federal government - absolutely, but if and only if the federal reach is limited - just like the Constitution directed.

Also seems like the point in a grand jury is to interject some reality into the process - to tone down prosecutorial exuberance/misconduct, and that doesn't sound like what happened here. This sounds more like the special grand jury was egging on an over the top prosecutor and any sense of rational "what if" ... or temperance and common sense were a no show in the process. The charges, the abundance of them and anecdotal "evidence", the intent to tie everybody together, and what seems to be just a disjointed attempt to throw fecal matter on the wall and see if some sticks makes it look like there is no case just simply a cheap shot. I think short fat fani is going get her fanny handed to her if the defendants are smart.

He didn't say she didn't. The irony is that y'all were ready to "lock her up" and now youre absolutely outraged that Donny might be held accountable for any one of the 91 felonies he's been accused of.

Biden, Hillary and Trump would look great in a orange jumpsuit. Though you Trump nut huggers will see that statement as a direct liberal assault on Donny.

No case? I'll got out on a limb and say you're not in the legal profession. Trump and his gang of clowns attempted to steal an American election. I'm happy to know that that IS illegal in America. And you should be, too, but then politics has corrupted your, er, well, I guess we can call it a brain.
