The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

There are posters who have fallen for way more fake stories. They just don't get called out because they claim the same politics as most on here. The bias is huge
It's not that he fell for it. It's that he fell for it twice. Or decided to ignore reality.

I think the “We love Trump,” and “it’s just coincidence that we always side with Trump” factions have gone down as a percentage of the forum since the 2020 election. We had a huge exodus of crazy after Trump lost and several new anti-trump folks, some of whom may be the same crazies in disguise.

Thanks. History gives a perspective.

If one wants a good breakdown as to why the GA "fake electors" case is ridiculous, listen to Nick Rekieta debate Destiny. They talk about fake electors case through the first 30 to 40 minutes. Destiny makes all the arguments TDS posters here make and Nick shoots them down one by one.

I had a great line plot that showed the distribution on the conservative to liberal continuum; but when I posted it, it was all screwed up.
Just like your political views. The reason many of us have taken a hiatus is we're fed up with the BS and the lies from liberals who suffer from TDS and support an aging, decrepit pedo who's sold this country down the river in order to enrich he and his family. I'm sure you're extremely proud.

What do you see as "they claim the same politics as most on here"...who do you see dominates the discussion?
This forum is full of big govt, free spending "conservatives" who don't realize it. They just don't want the other side to spend all the money first. It's why Trump is so popular here since he'll spend it but tell them it's to save them from the evil libs

Can you not be fed up with both sides?

I'm proud to have voted for Biden over Trump; that hasn't changed in the least. I would do the same '24 without hesitation.
Fortunately, I do not believe Biden will be the democratic candidate.
I too took a hiatus because I was fed up with the absolute mindlessness and gullibility of Trump supporters.

Name some from this forum that fit that narrative.

A tell-tale sign is supporting Trump while blaming Biden completely for all inflation. Or pointing out Trump's economy while ignoring trillion dollar deficits. Pardoning the outright theft of covid funds by Trump friends is also a symptom. Easy to see when you look

This is a new one. At least I haven't seen this accusation before, do you have some links for this?

Please---Rekieta is an idiot. He pushes this nonsense that it's not really illegal to do something illegal if you believe in what you are doing--and believe that the other side engaged in illegality and therefore your actions should be illegal or, at least, not illegal. BS. And then, like the rubes, he wants to wave it it all off--the lies and the conspiracy--as no big deal because it didn't actually happen. Again, bull$hit. People get arrested and imprisoned for conspiring to kill somebody even if the murder isn't carried out.

There was a conspiracy to submit fake electors to states and to Congress. In Pennsylvania, the fake electors actually showed up at the capitol claiming to be the electors, only to be told that the real electors were already inside. There was a conspiracy to defraud the American people and to subvert an election--period. One of the main conspirators, lawyer Chesebro, has already pleaded guilty to a felony in Georgia--where he was treated rather lightly, I would argue. He should be drummed out of the legal profession. Some of the lawyers who worked with the gangster to subvert the election will lose state licenses. They should all probably be in prison.

We've seen this nonsense from the trumpies all along. "Oh, we thought there might be vote fraud, so that's why we tried to overturn the election." Or: "We believed there was vote fraud, even though there was no proof of vote fraud, and so that's why he tried to organize a coup." Uh, no.

It's the old: "Gee, I thought the guy standing in my store (looking at greeting cards) might try to rob me, or might have a gun, so i shot him." Nobody is allowed to break laws based on the self-serving bull$hit running through his head that has no relation to the facts.

What makes one a MAGA rube: It's a person that gets his dirty undies in a knot and all hot and bothered and outraged when a black football players kneels during the national anthem but wants to wave off a conspiracy to subvert an election and a mob attack on the U.S. Capitol that results in several deaths--an attack on our democracy--as no big deal. The smell of serious hypocrisy and deceit.

I'm prouder to have voted for neither of the addled morons you mention. Both have/will cause irreparable harm to this country. Demand better
I didn't want Biden. I didn't vote for him in the primary. I said he should be removed as soon as he won. Use the 25th now. I do not want him to run in '24. That's about all I can do on the "demand better" front.

I will 100% vote for the only viable candidate running against Trump - without reservation.

You didn't want Biden but you voted for him? More of that partisan math

Trump shares some blame, for sure. Biden is the current guy, though, and he is the one wanting $87 billion for the Ukraine.

I don’t think there are many on here, if any, that full on support Trump 100%. I have said it a million times: I think Trump is a skeezy guy. But I also see government weaponized against him, and that’s scary. If they’ll do that to him, they’ll do it to any of us that speak out, which is why we shouldn’t be so quick to vilify him.

By the GA primary Biden was the only candidate left in the race, everyone else had dropped out.
