It isn't just the Storm-girl case, Trumpie has broken quite a few laws. Refusal to return national security documents, and lying about having complied. Ran a Trump University scam, bilking folks out of their money, tax fraud, and more. The issue isn't whether he can appeal or not. The issue is the GOP defending him despite these breaches of trust, and contempt for the law. Which means the GOP is as guilty as he is because they're not upholding their own oath of office by sanctioning Trump's illegal activities.
They will corrupt your system and give extra points for political persecutions.There should be some penalty or consequences for judges who get overturned on appeal. It might reduce junk like this. The Judge wouldn’t be so cavalier about making reversible errors from the bench if he knew there were some actual consequences
Doesn’t even have to be directly punitive. Maybe just a point system where you gain points for being upheld and lose points for being overturned. Then when you are nominated for a higher court, those scores can be considered in the decision.
Sort of like a “judicial ERA”. Heck we can even have trading cards
