The Masters Tournament

Since it appears that Bobbys Ghost ain't gonna let El Tigre win this time...I hope Day pulls it out..I really like that kid. Would love to see Freddie boom boom win, but just don't think his health will hold up.

that's 5 strokes...he's got to get 2-3 back, on the back 9 today, to stay in striking distance for tomorrow

I think that putt on eight just took whatever fortitude he had left. Dude has got to feel absolutely gutted. He is probably gonna drop another one here on 9 it looks like.

I don't know if it's possible for him to give in, when he's playing a Major...but he's got his work cut our for him

Nope...still alive for now. He needs to at least gain a 2-3 shots on the back. It doesn't look like anybody is just out there killing it right now.

and you're still not using all the facts. When the PGA learned that Tiger went backwards purposely for his own advantage, he was definitely not in compliance with the rules. From a simple video replay it doesn't look like he's that far off the original spot. But when all the facts were present, they had to make their ruling. I'm not wrong and neither is the PGA in this situation. The PGA always has been able to go back and alter a decision when new facts are introduced. This is nothing new for them. It's just new for it to be someone like Tiger.

I was under the impression he could go as far back as he wanted. Unfair advantage? Lol like he's gonna hit the pin again. It's not like he foot wedge one out of the woods or something. I doubt his intent was to intentionally break any rule.

He could have gone as far back as he wanted if he had kept the point where he crossed the margin of the hazard between himself and the pin. Instead, he chose to take stroke and distance and replay the shot from the previous spot.

Wow. I know he did himself in with the interview, but still can't believe they called this on him. I'm sure it's a little further away than it looks, but . . .

I think he basically merged two options in his mind. I don't really blame him. I would have been discombobulated too after that. He would probably still be in the lead right now if he misses that flagstick.
