The Masters Tournament

never heard anything about that, but I'm sure the guy that shoot 61 at Augusta, isn't going to 3 jack, just to make a pro feel better

Is there some unwritten golf rule I'm unaware of that frowns upon amateurs showing up pros by beating them? It wasn't just Sergio. He was certainly more dickish about it, but Rory also mentioned thinking he would intentionally three-putt so they would end up tied.

The difference is that Rory was kidding. Sergio is a huge douche.

Heck of a round for Couples today. He's fallen apart on Saturday the past couple years. Who knows, maybe he can come up with something special tomorrow.

You've got to figure that everybody from -5 down to about -1 is still in it. The guys at Even could theoretically go low enough, but they're tied for 14th and probably have too many people to pass. It's kind of neat that most of them are recognizable, but none of them are the usual suspects. There are guys that can go low, veterans that have won, and a couple of upstarts. It's completely wide open. I just hope somebody goes out and wins it and nobody shoots 80.

Shocking how Bubba didn't capitalize on his drives on the 5s. Those pars were worse than his bogies. I'm not sure he has the instinct to win it. His post round interview was a lot of "oh well, if I don't win, I've still won before," talk.

Jordan Spieth would be a nice victor. He almost seems not to realize he's in Augusta. He's got a game vaguely similar to Freddy; just a simple, non-chalant approach.

Bubba's issues with ADD and adversity are well documented. I honestly can't believe he ever won a major, but I guess he just likes the course.

Debating whether to watch the masters or go to the angels game. Seats are awesome w free food and booze but I love masters Sunday.

Shaping up to be an exciting afternoon. Freddie always seems to be in contention for a day or two. Would be nice to see him make a charge for the ages.

NICE! Low, and only, amateur to make the cut is Oliver Goss, UT student. In at a +10 298 for the tourney.

Mercedes will have to mark up their cars an extra $10k a piece to pay for all these ads.

Must say, only time I can remember cheering for both guys in the final group.

Been waiting on Spieth to do something like that. It's just such a hard place to navigate for a young guy.

There's a lot of golf left but you have to believe Bubba's experience will be helpful down the stretch.
