The murder of Ahmaud Arbery

A fetus younger than 22 weeks has for all intents and purposes zero chance of being viable. A person who that is brain dead actually has a higher chance of just waking up one day compared to the fetus. But we don’t hem and haw about the brain dead person even though they are both unviable.
Maybe I missed something, are you talking about a woman having an abortion or are you talking about a premature birth?

A woman having an abortion before 22 weeks. That is the standard age that a life becomes viable, in that it can live on its own without life support.

That’s just not true. Like I already stated, only two have ever lived being born before 22 weeks and they suffered from extreme mental and physical problems. That’s a far cry from living a normal life.
If there is no abortion they will in all probability live a normal life. What would the need for an abortion be if the fetus was delivered already? Please reread your question to me and my response.

A person that is "brain dead" is by definition dead because they have no brain activity (electrocerebral silence). Does a pre-22 weeker have brain activity?

Ricky's point is that Arbery pretty clearly wasn't jogging on the day in question. It's fine in as much as the media narrative is skewed. It changes nothing insofar as justifying his killers' actions.

Exactly right. There is no need to portray him as a jogger. It's going to weaken the narrative when it comes out at trial that he was not jogging. And I think it will.

I mean, that’s what happened. They saw some video footage of a guy trespassing. They somehow were able to take that grainy video and link it to Arbery. They then hunted him down like a dog and killed him.
Not really even close to what actually happened.

No i never went inside someone's home or property without permission. I respect privacy/property rights
I have never gone in a home they were living in, ever, without permission. But a home that is gutted or under construction, yes. If only out of curiosity. When we were kids we raided them for scrap and bent nails. Guess we should have been hunted down and shot.

Another simply wrong post. Stop posting feelz and post facts.

As I understand it this was not a new construction home but an addition/remodel.

Strawman much?

No, actually I will stick with my statement. Your definition of trespass while technically correct is generally not practiced in that manner. People walk up and look at houses under construction ALL THE TIME. they are actively building in our neighborhood and there are people in the new homes constantly looking.

lol another "people go into other's homes and properties ALL THE TIME" BS..

It happens im sure, not everybody does those kind of things. It depends on where you live, how you were raised, etc.

The strawman comment was you suggesting "guess we should all be hunted down and shot"

Arbery wasn't shot because he simply looked thru an empty house

Oh, OK. Other than running around the opposite side of a parked vehicle with two armed Billy Bobs in it and one of them getting out of the drivers side and coming around the front of the vehicle after him. Then "attacking" the guy chasing him around the front of the vehicle with a shotgun, what exactly did he do to get shot? Inquiring minds and all.

And remember who you are talking to here. I am considered a right wing gun nut on this forum.

i don't care who you are, his decision to physically punch the guy and try to steal his gun was what got him shot. And yes i get the argument that Billy Bob and son were idiots and in the wrong also, but if he had kept on running or stopped to talk to them or did ANYTHING else, he likely would still be alive.

To say he was shot "just for looking around a construction site" is 100% simplified BS.

It's like when they said Trayvon Martin was just walking home eating skittles, does he deserve to be shot for that?
Michael Brown was just walking home from the store and jaywalked, does he deserve to be shot for that?

That kind of media driven talking point is simple-minded and excludes what actually occurred

The one question that you have avoided answering is why did the son get out of the truck with his weapon drawn? What was his purpose and what had he personally witnessed immediately preceding this shooting? I know you don't care who I am and the feeling is mutual. You just seemed to have taken some sort of imagined leadership role in this thread and I'm trying to figure out where all of your fact and proven opinion BS is coming from. I've seen two things, him walking into a vacant home under construction just like many more individuals did and then getting shot because he made a run at a guy holding a gun on him? You have no clue what the guy said to him or did with the gun in the front of the truck. The guy that got out of the truck AND his moron dad were in the wrong in the shooting. Period. End of subject. The guy was wearing floppy shorts and a tshirt. I would say clearly unarmed. The dad was in the back of the truck with pistol drawn. The son should never have gotten out of the truck armed in the first place. If he had gotten out unarmed and said something and then was approached and a weapon appeared, dad would have had a good shot at him from the truck bed. You are standing on one side of the fence claiming your neutrality. It looks stupid.
