If he had gotten out unarmed and said something and then was approached and a weapon appeared, dad would have had a good shot at him from the truck bed. You are standing on one side of the fence claiming your neutrality. It looks stupid.

You can't even get simple facts as they are known to be correct (i.e. dad was back in truck with pistol drawn, which didnt happen until Arbery ran to attack his son),

I am not standing on any side of any fence. I look at all the facts of the case from a legal and relevant standpoint, and I've said it comes down to if the jury believes the two idiots had justification to attempt detainment or they committed agg assault. Do i think they went after Arbery with the intent to kill him? I see no evidence of that.

I think the McMichaels did some dumbass sh** that ended up biting them in the butt because they didn't think it would go so south and that Arbery would actually fight them;
I think Arbery was doing some criminal sh** and ended up deciding to fight them instead of the worry of being arrested/detained, as we see in EVERY other video he had with police

This is what happens when dumbassery goes around. I do know like with Trayvon and Brown and every other case like this, it's much more layered and deep than just "DiD uZ seee thoze WHiTE gUyZ mURDER tHaTT blACK DudEE in Colld bloOD bc He Wuz JoGGIN?"

What's so ****ing stupid about your dumbassery is that we are basically saying the same thing. I don't care what EVERY OTHER VIDEO shows about the guy. You CANNOT do what the two Billy Bob's did. How do you know when the old man got in the back of the truck? It's not in the video so that guess is hearsay. What you can't get through your thick skull is it doesn't matter what he did leading up to him being detained because neither one of the Billy Bobs saw him do it. He hadn't committed a violent crime, he wasn't armed, he tried to avoid the guy getting out of the truck with a gun. What happened after that, I DON'T KNOW AND NEITHER DO YOU. Why can't you see that is all there is too this. What he did leading up to those guys drawing down on him has NO impact here because they did not witness it. That **** in bold just makes you look even more stupid than you already do.

When my wife and I were looking at houses, we found a subdivision we liked and walked through several of the framed-up houses to see if we liked any of the floorplans. I guess we're bad people. I'll have to live with the shame.

The argument that he was being chased by men with guns and had a right to defend himself however he saw fit seems pretty compelling here. Even if charging a guy with a gun is a bad idea, I could see him being desperate when it looks like he's being pinned in.

Most agree.

But there are those that blame Arbery for attacking that poor guy with the shotgun and getting shot with it 3 times. Might only have been once if he had just stood there.

So if a guy in a truck chases you down then gets out and comes at you with a gun, you are going to calmly and rationally think, "Gee golly and shucks, maybe I should stop and subject myself to the will of this random guy with a gun while I wait for the cops to show up?"

Yep. . . That'd be Frank and Laura Hogue. Frank Hogue has become a pretty renowned defense attorney. If you remember the Stephen McDaniel case here a few years ago where a law student was convicted of killing his classmate, Hogue was the attorney on that one too.
