The murder of Ahmaud Arbery

Thats the problem with our society. A lot of folks have been conditioned to act with rage when hearing certain words, even if it means their own death or injury/prison/etc..
I don't think that's anything new. I suspect people have been provoked by words throughout all of human history. The problem is enough of us haven't been conditioned not to.

I would argue it means they decided to handle it themselves.
Agree. There are reports that he was seen on video either prowling or breaking in. What some don't seem to realize is that even if its true it shouldn't change the charges against the defendants.

I'm 100% invulnerable to words. Fact.

That also makes me a huge a&&hole..

Where are you seeing these reports?

But there is still no evidence they pointed a gun at him until he ran at them and hit the son

Up to you, but if I were you I'd let it go. There's a lot you don't know. The video of the "burglary" looks nothing like a burglary, and nothing was taken, hence no burglary.

We all get to choose our sides here. I just don't want to see you pick the wrong hill to fight on. Who knows how it will play out in the end? Like any earthquake, and trust me this is one...there are always aftershocks. Those aftershocks, in some instances, can be as damaging as the original event. This may well be one of those instances, when it's all over and done. Skeletons are about to be revealed.

EDIT: But as Freak and a few others here can attest, I was dead wrong on our last two football HC searches, so maybe I'm wrong here (yet again). But this time, I know many of the names involved, so...

Be careful out there.

Thank you
Again, not saying in anyway that the McMichael response was OK, but just shedding some light on the story.

2 biggest rubs I have, main one and the focus is the cover up from the local authorities as the GBI stated in their PC they had no idea why charges weren't brought.

2nd and smaller rub is the political social agenda that is being put out there that Arbery was out for his daily jog and these guys wanted to blast him because they hated black joggers. It was an act of murder, much like the young college girl in New York that got murdered.

Are you saying this case is actually like the NY case or that it is being made to seem like the NY case?

No. I'm wondering why the outpouring of emotion isnt the same when both were senseless murders.

Same day the video was released a black security guard was murdered execution style because he asked a lady to have her daughter put a mask on while in the store. I may have missed it but I didn't see all these social media posts him and he leaves 8 children behind.

Is there video of the security guard? I saw social media posts but no video

There were a ton of social media posts about it when everyone assumed it was a white trump supporter but not so much when they showed pics of the real perpetrators.... I never did see a video though.

Yep and just so happens to be the same house as the theft a few days prior. I’m sure 100% coincidence
I believe he was stealing, but that doesn't justify what happened to him. Hopefully the 2 guys get what's coming though. Absutely no need to do what they did.

Not saying that but look at Georgia’s definition of burglary which is a felony

2014 Georgia Code :: Title 16 - CRIMES AND OFFENSES :: Chapter 7 - DAMAGE TO AND INTRUSION UPON PROPERTY :: Article 1 - BURGLARY :: § 16-7-1 - Burglary

Which does appear to fall under GAs state law for detaining/citizens arrest.

Defense is going to have a field day with what the three laws actually state (citizen arrest, concealed carry, self defense)

The McMichaels didn't know he'd been in that house before they began the pursuit.
