The murder of Ahmaud Arbery

I asked a guy in the neighborhood if he minded if I walked through his yard to get to the Corp property behind his house to take my girls fishing. He laughed as if I’d asked a dumb question and said we were welcome anytime.
When we moved in to our neighborhood in Knoxville, my kids walked across the back of a field coming back from fishing in the neighborhood pond. They thought the guy that owned the property was going to shoot them.....he didn't even live there. We had words and eventually became friends.

There’s never anything of any real value left in these homes. Construction scrap that’s either going in the dumpster or in a fire pile is typically all that’s inside
I don't know, we had some pretty snazzy tree forts when we were kids. We would go in and pick up bent nails and straighten them (before nail guns) and the guys would just give us handfuls of good nails to keep us out from under foot. They would actually stack decent "scrap" to the side for us to "steal". Was an awesome time.

Third video surfaces, shows man resembling Ahmaud Arbery inside home under construction on same day he's killed

The video, obtained by ABC News from the homeowners, shows a man attorneys believe to be Arbery enter a home under construction.

The attorney for the homeowners, Elizabeth Graddy, says the homeowners did not have any relationship with the McMichaels, who are facing charges related to Arbery's death.

Graddy released this statement:

" ........ After seeing Mr. Arbery's photo in news reports, Larry English did not even think Mr. Arbery was the person that appears in this video. Even if it had been, however, Mr. English would never have sought a vigilante response, much less one resulting in a tragic death."

Are that obtuse or just completely ignorant of the law. You don’t have to have a house with a person in it to be burglary. That’s aggravated burglary when that happens. Lol you’re avoiding the question because you KNOW you would be upset and/or scared and would not accept “I’m just checking out your house” as an answer.

What he’s saying is no more detached from the law from the arguments you’ve made and are making.

There goes Ricky's supposition that the McMichaels had access to the neighbor's Nest cam. Unless Ricky believes that the McMichaels were illegally hacking into their neighbor's security system.

That's not the video the McMichaels mentioned to police..it's the one the guy showed them from the thefts at the dock behind the home

He's a she and she posted the same things about Trayvon Martin back in the day, making excuses for his behavior. She was on the side that it's no big deal to be on/in other people's property, but she wouldn't answer the question i posed because, she knows she would call the police in a heartbeat if the same happened on her property

Especially when you break it down to violent crimes overall committed by race
Break it down by income. Its the same in all races pretty much. Poor urban white people actually commit crimes at a higher rate than poor urban black people. Income and not race is the only factor in crime rates. Its the same in every country around the world. Poor people commit crimes at a higher rate.

Drug use and distribution is the same between black and white people. Many more black offenders due to policing inequality. Higher drug crime rate but same drug use and distribution.

White and black people are killed by their own race and someone they know about 90% of the time. Black people don't kill a bunch of white people and vice versa.

Lets stop with all of your debunked racist narratives. Its pretty sad.

C is the only section that matters for this trial.

If the jury believes that their detainment was an aggravated assault and not an attempted detention for police, they will be found guilty.
If the jury believes that they had a right to try to detain/identify him with all the evidence at hand, they will be found not guilty.

I think one play is to push the threat of of the former making it a murder trial and accepting a plea for manslaughter.

so the FBI and CDC is racist with their statistics? and i didn't say ALL crime, i said VIOLENT crimes (burglary, robbery, rape, murder, assault). It has nothing to do with actual race, it has to do with culture and parenting (or lack thereof)

It’s a big stretch to expect everybody to treat a construction site the same as a house or to assume a burglary when dude left on his own without committing any felony.

Has that video been published?
the police have it apparently, he has not released it because of the media/backlash from groups.

It is the video of the actual theft on his dock, which was behind his house. I believe it occurred 2-3 nights before this incident

I absolutely believe that. Ive believed that from the beginning. It wasn't race motivated, they are just white trash vigilantes.
ok see? we can agree on this..lol i said they were idiots and went about it wrong.

I just still believe that they didnt set out in that truck thinking "let's go kill this guy"

You obviously can not understand the INCOME part. More poor black people. Poor people commit crime. Poor white people commit similar rates of crime. Poverty and not race is the factor.

Only a true racist thinks there is some culturally instilled criminality in any race. I guess when the Irish and Italians were the poor group and committing the crimes it was due to them being white. When the crime and murder rate was super high up until the 1960s and done by white people I guess it was your culture.

Its funny how when the white people started benefiting from all of the government programs like the GI Bill and Federal Loans their crime rate dropped. Pretty peculiar. I guess yall just changed your culture and the increased wealth and security had nothing to do with it.

Which is the point that many of us have been making: When Greg McMichaels saw Arbery running down the street, he knew jack squat about any "trespassing" or "burglary" at the unfinished house up the street.

You realize that culture isn't a race right? The culture of inner-city ghettos and of white trash trailer parks are the exact same, and yes poverty does play a role, but it's not the main factor or else ever poor person would be a felon, and that's not close to being true.

It comes down to having a stable home with two good parents who instill in you the right values (hard work, ethics, education, not doing drugs or stealing crap, etc.) Unfortunately in these areas (with 65-80% single homes without a good father), the gangs/druggies step in and mold already a kid with an already questionable upbringing and turn them into yet another criminal.

I have a friend of mine who grew up in Walter P and whose father was shot and killed when he was 2. He had a great mother and support system from his family who taught him the right way to do things. He worked hard, went to school (despite his friends making fun of him for "being white" and threatening him several times) and he graduated college and now makes 6 figures and moved his mom out to Nashville with him as a successful businessman. Anyone has that opportunity or can make that opportunity if they CHOOSE.

For whatever faults can be laid on the handling of the situation the idea they actually "set out" to kill Arbery at 1:00 PM on a Sunday in a suburban neighborhood street after actually calling the police to inform them they were pursuing goes beyond my accepting as a reasonably held belief. That it is very likely it was known the third man was videoing the engagement pushes lack of credibility for that argument even further.

Now having said the above felony murder is still very much on the table if the armed CA/detainment does not hold up and manslaughter is more likely than not regardless.
