Expect the class to be around 20-22 spots as we're a year out, but as we've seen with*Butch Jones*the numbers are never really a firm thing.

The needs? Wide receiver will be a huge priority for the staff and the Vols will take at least three wideouts and depending on how numbers shake out don't be surprised if Tennessee signs four next year.

I could definately see a small class next year. We are already replacing as we go and leaving ourselves better and better talent to have to cull from. Plus we'll have a small number of seniors.

None. He spoke about the walkons that made the board. He specifically did not speak about the blue shirt guys because they didn't sign anything. They are still at risk to sign elsewhere. No OV and they have to walk on is how I understand it.

the way i read it they aren't counting guys we'd see 2015 regardless when they count

In my 2016 class I put Bruce at RB as I figured they would take 2. I put Perry at WR as I figured on 3.

2 backs plus Bruce, 3-4 receivers plus Perry would be up to 8 spots. Already 7 committed(QB,TE,OL,LB,and 3CBs), 9 with the 2 BSs. Possibly up to 11 if there is indeed 2 "quiet" BSs. The 7 guys committed, none of them are RBs Or WRs. Would be interesting to see it all fit.

The blue shirts are walk ons and according to some reports he has spoke about 2 of them because they were announced as part of the class. We just don't know which two.

Or there isn't 2 more "secrect" BSs as some have mentioned as a possibility. It very well could be just Bruce and Perry. Maybe the 27 is what they had room for in 2015. Don't ask me how, but possible.

I do think folks are starting to realize the "guarantee" to a BS is still a bit risky. Signing that LOI is security. As a BS, you HOPE it's there as promised when you arrive.

Sarkisian used the Blue Shirt loophole for his class this year as well. The reporters on Sirius this morning (don't know their names) were talking about how smart he was for doing this.

They would still be a year ahead.

Yeah, they would be spaced out roster wise. My thinking was it would still take away from other positions in the class with the total being 20 or so.

No clue. I'm not even sure they took this one yet.

The 2 "quiet" BSs is what I'd question. Maybe they exist, and maybe they signed for 2015.
