On Monday evening it was learned that US Attorney
General Eric Holder lied to a congressional
committee while testifying about his knowledge of
the Obama Regimes Operation Fast and Furious
Gunwalking scandal.
Senator Chuck Grassley and Congressman Darrell Issa today said that Attorney General Eric Holder received at least five weekly memos beginning in July 2010, including four weeks in a row, describing the ill-advised strategy known as Operation Fast and Furious. The memos were to Holder from Michael Walther, the director of the National Drug Intelligence Center.
The Attorney General told Issa during a House Judiciary Committee in May 2011 that he had just learned of Fast and Furious a few weeks before. Yet, on January 31, in a previously scheduled meeting, Grassley personally handed him two letters about Fast and Furious. Grassley and Issa said they find it very troubling that Holder actually knew of Operation Fast and Furious much earlier, and in greater detail than he ever let on.
The memos specifically said that the straw buyers were responsible for the purchase of 1500 firearms that were then supplied to Mexican drug trafficking cartels.
With the fairly detailed information that the Attorney General read, it seems the logical question for the Attorney General after reading in the memo would be why havent we stopped them? Grassley said. And if he didnt ask the questions, why didnt he or somebody in his office?

Holder received briefing memos from National Drug Intelligence Center Director Michael Walther on July 5, July 12, July 19, July 26, and August 9.

Republican Rep. Paul Gosar of Arizona told The Daily Caller on Wednesday that Obama administration officials responsible for Operation Fast and Furious might be accessories to murder.
Were talking about consequences of criminal activity, where we actually allowed guns to walk into the hands of criminals, where our livelihoods are at risk, Gosar said in a phone interview. When you facilitate that and a murder or a felony occurs, youre called an accessory. That means that theres criminal activity.
--------------------------------------
Its looking more and more like the typical Washington scenario where people get caught doing bad things, but actually the cover-up ends up being worse than the original offense, Cornyn, who sits on the Senate Judiciary Committee, said on a conference call with reporters.
---------------------------
There may ten or more gunwalking operations in five states, yet the part-time acting director of the ATF who was also conspicuously the Chairman of the Attorney Generals Advisory Committee and allegedly briefed on Operation Fast and Furious, according to documents obtained by Senator Grassley cant seem to find them .
----------------------------------
If there are ten or more gunwalking operations just half the size of Operation Fast and Furious, then 12,000 weapons were supplied to criminals by our federal government enough to arm three U.S. Army infantry brigades. If each operation was roughly as large as Fast and Furious, were looking at more than 20,000 weapons enough to equip a U.S. infantry division.

Between possible charges of accessory to murder, violations of international terrorism laws, felony violations of arms export laws, and possible treason, Franklins advice to hang together to avoid hanging separately is far more literal than anyone would have ever dreamed just a week ago.
On 24 March, Steinberg participated with DHS Secretary Napolitano and Deputy Attorney General David Ogden in a press conference on U.S.-Mexico Border Security Policy. This press conference, preceded a visit by Hillary Clinton to Mexico City. Here is the policy announcement that preceded what became the Gunwalker Scandal.

DOJ's Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is increasing its efforts by adding 37 new employees in three new offices, using $10 million in Recovery Act funds, and redeploying 100 personnel to the Southwest border in the next 45 days to fortify its Project Gunrunner ..............................
----------------------------
DOJ's Office of Justice Programs is investing $30 million in stimulus funding to help state and local government and law enforcement combat narcotics activity along the Southwest border and in high-intensity drug trafficking areas. Additionally, the state and local law enforcement in those areas can apply for COPS and Byrne Justice Assistance Grants, a total of $3 billion of which were provided in the stimulus package.
Standing in front of a Phoenix memorial for fallen law enforcement officers, including Border Patrol Agent Brian A. Terry - murdered as a direct result of the operation - the sheriffs called for the president to launch an independent investigation and for Attorney General Eric Holder to step down or be fired. They are demanding that Holder reveal the truth behind the scandal, and believe that those responsible should be criminally accountable for allowing 2,000 guns to be purchased on U.S. Soil and turned over to the Mexican drug cartels.
-----------------------------
Five of the sheriffs are Democrats, and the other five are Republicans. But they spoke in united outrage over the conduct of the Obama Administration in this scandal and demanded results.

On Tuesday, Republic Rep. Lamar Smith of Texas also called for a special counsel to investigate Fast and Furious, saying that Holder may have misled Congress about his knowledge of the operation. In his press conference on Thursday, Obama said Holder had his full confidence in Holder, but did not address accusations that Holder perjured himself in his May 2011 testimony before Congress.
And of course, a compliant media did not even ask Obama about Holders testimony, the perjury allegations, or even the special prosecutor request. Hugo Chavez has a more challenging press than does Obama.
Disgraceful.
In a letter sent to Holder on Sunday and publically
released on Monday, Issa lists several instances in
which the DOJ either denied the existence of the
gun walking tactics used in Fast and Furious
the process of allowing for the sale or delivery of
firearms into the hands of suspected criminals
or dragged its feet in turning over documents the committee had subpoenaed.
All of these efforts were designed to circle the
wagons around DOJ and its political appointees,
wrote Issa.
---------------------------
After enduring a weeks worth of criticism from
Republicans including calls for his resignation,
accusations that he was trying to devise a cover-up,
and a statement that he was an accessory to murder
Holder wrote a letter to the chairman and ranking
members of three committees with jurisdiction over the
DOJ, in which he said the latest fury of congressional
reaction was irresponsible.
"I cannot sit idly by as a Majority Member of the House
Committee on Oversight and Government Reform suggests,
as happened this week, that law enforcement and
government employees who devote their lives to
protecting our citizens be considered 'accessories
to murder,' wrote Holder.
Such irresponsible and inflammatory rhetoric must be
repudiated in the strongest possible terms."
But Issa shot back in his most recent letter, saying
that instead of addressing the shortcomings of the
DOJ to deliver pertinent and timely information about
the operation to Congress, Holder denigrated the
already contentious relationship between the Justice
Department and Congress even further with his letter.
Holders letter did little but obfuscate, shift blame,
berate, and attempt to change the topic away from
the Departments responsibility in the creation, implementation, and authorization of Fast and
Furious, said Issa.
Issa, who is pushing for Holder to appear before
Congress again to testify, said the letter called into
question his ability to serve the American people as
attorney general.
It appears your latest defense has reached a new low,
wrote Issa.
Incredibly, in your letter from Friday you now claim
that you were unaware of Fast and Furious because
your staff failed to inform you of information contained
in memos that were specifically addressed to you. At
best, this indicates negligence and incompetence
in your duties as Attorney General. At worst, it
places your credibility in serious doubt.

Issa concludes that Grindler must have
told Holder because he was not fired for
dereliction and was instead given his
current job as Holders chief of staff.
Sharyl Attkisson, the same CBS reporter who was
screamed at by the White House to stop reporting
on the Fast and Furious gun scandal, is reporting
today that Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) will be issuing
a subpoena to DOJ head Eric Holder:
CBS News has learned a congressional subpoena
directed to Attorney General Eric Holder could go
out as early as Tuesday, ordering him to turn
over documents to lawmakers about when he
was aware of a controversial gun smuggling
operation known as Fast and Furious.
CBS News investigative correspondent Sharyl
Attkisson reports the the subpoena will come
from the House Oversight Committee, led by
Republican Darrell Issa. It will ask for
communications among senior Justice
Department officials related to Fast and
Furious and gunwalking.
The subpoena will list those officials, says Attkisson
more than a dozen of them by name.
With three cabinet-level secretaries and their staffs
involved in a plot to create a murderous reality to
match White House rhetoric, it seems only a matter
of time before subpoenas are directed to 1600
Pennsylvania Avenue.
It wasnt an ATF operation. They were part of that.
It was a joint operation in which DEA knew more
than ATF.
This directly conflicts with prior statements by DEA
Administrator Michele Leonhart .....
Although U.S. officials cannot confirm reports of the
arrest Jamel Nasr recently in Tijuana, they should
acknowledge that the reports are consistent with
increasing concern that Hezbollah is seeking an
operational base in the Americas. Nasr was no ordinary
tourist or would-be immigrant. He is a made member of
the Lebanese-based terror group, Hezbollah.
Mexican authorities have released few details about his
arrest, but they appear to have uncovered a network
traceable back to the terrorist groups headquarters in
the Middle East.
The possible arrest is not the first incident indicating
Hezbollahs interest in establishing a beachhead in the
Americas.
Last month, Paraguayan police arrested Moussa Ali
Hamdan, a naturalized U.S. citizen. He had been sought
by the U.S. since last November, when he was indicted
for involvement in bogus passports, counterfeiting, and
selling fake merchandise to finance Hezbollah operations.
---------------------
More recently, Hezbollah seems to be finding
convenient operating space in Venezuela. Hugo
Chavezs, Venezuelas fiery, anti-American president,
recently hosted Syrian President Hafez al-Assad.
Syrias deep involvement in Lebanon, its border
disputes with Israel and its backing of Hezbollah
are of long-standing.
In Caracas, Chavez and Assad reaffirmed a united
front against common enemies: the U.S. and Israel.
Doubtless, finding ways to advance Hezbollahs power
and influence without being caught was a topic of
private conversation as well.
SAN DIEGO -- A terrorist organization whose home base
is in the Middle East has established another home base
across the border in Mexico.
"They are recognized by many experts as the 'A' team of
Muslim terrorist organizations," a former U.S. intelligence
agent told 10News.
The former agent, referring to Shi'a Muslim terrorist
group Hezbollah, added, "They certainly have had
successes in big-ticket bombings."
Some of the group's bombings include the U.S. embassy
in Beirut and Israeli embassy in Argentina.
Democratic Senators and Obama water-carriers Dianne Feinstein and Charles Schumer last week joined with
the White House in touting a bogus report which
used Fast and Furious as proof that American gun
dealers on the southern border are profiting from gun
sales to the drug cartel.
Democrats are pushing out more of these flimsy reports
today, and going home for the holidays are intending to
beat the gun control drum in their districts.

From the intel, it appears that a company was set up in Mexico to purchase weapons through the U.S. Direct Commercial Sales Program, and that the company may have had a direct link to the Zetas.
The U.S. Direct Commercial Sales program is run from the U.S. State Departments Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. It regulates and licenses private U.S. companies overseas sales of weapons and other defense materials, defense services, and military training. This does not include the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program, which authorized sales to foreign governments.
An El Paso Times article as of now ignored by mainstream media went into much more shocking detail:
Theyve found anti-aircraft weapons and hand grenades from the Vietnam War era, Plumlee said. Other weapons found include grenade launchers, assault rifles, handguns and military gear including night-vision goggles and body armor.
How is it that in the midst of all the uproar concerning Eric Holders Justice Departments murderous assault on the Second Amendment, Operation Fast and Furious, we have not heard the name HILLARY CLINTON?
Our Secretary of State was certainly used as an important cog in the wheel of destruction aimed at our Constitutional rights. When she stood in Mexico City with her Mexican counterpart and accused Americans of being behind all of the escalating gun violence, what did she really know?
