I don't believe that anyone has forgotten how Pearl was crucified by the NCAA. While other coaches buy, players sexually molest children the NCAA will turns a blind eye.

I would love to see Pearl back at the end of 3 years. However UT would never admit that they made a mistake so I don't believe it will happen. But if Pearl choses to return to coaching at another school that school will get a fantastic coach. I see him coaching at South Carolina.

We have already stated this is a bad loss. That isn't the debate. This was a terrible loss.

However, it doesn't compare to the losses we had last season, with a better team, to equally pathetic competition.

Let me clearify my statement. You may look it up if you wish./ I said that "Bruce was the best BB coach since Ray Mears. He made a mistake and tried to correct it". I never brought up Jerry Green, I believe you did that, Please feel free to correct if I am incorrect. Thanks.

Martin is going to get the time to work with this program, that is inevitable. My only worry is with a guy that isn't the promoter type that UT probably needs, if he doesn't win big UT is back to obscurity that we had with Buzz, Houston and all the other bad coaches we have had at UT. I don't want to see those black curtains again.

He won with it. What has this coach done to play to the strengths of his players? HE is lost and couldn't find his a$$ with a search light and a map. BAD HIRE PERIOD

The Pearl Haters on here make the silly statments primarily because they don't know anything about basketball. They don't understand what it takes for a coach to come to a school totally without a basketball history and have the kind of success Pearl had. Yes I know Ray Mears went to the dance a couple of times. He never won a game. This program has been crap through out its history until Pearl. It will now be crap for many more years. If I am wrong unlike some of the people on here who would rather die than take responsibility for there statements, I will come on here an eat humble pie til it runs out my a--.

What DII team did we lose to this year? AP is OVC, which my school, Univ. of Tenn at Martin is in. We are a Division I school. Whats bad is our team beat the brakes of AP in a summer exhibition and our team is horrible. O well.
