The Office: Season 8

Saw on Yahoo that they have confirmed that SC will not make an apperance in the finale. Which sucks!! I think it would be a perfect way to end the show is to have Scott come back. I feel like leaving him out will leave the show incomplete.

Well they did "confirm" it about a month or so ago but now reports are coming out that he may have done a cameo. It has been confirmed that he was on set during filming, and the strong rumor is they threw an 11th hour effort to get him to cameo.

Personally I think he did film maybe a small scene and they are keeping it a secret.

Ah, I didn't see that they once again "confirmed" Carell won't be in the finale.

I still think they are playing dumb but we'll see.

I will probably tune in for the finale....even though I think I've only watched one full episode this season.

I am hoping they are playing dumb. I just think leaving him out of the finale is an injustice to the show.

I'm sure they want him in it but ultimately it's his choice. Last I heard he was very satisfied with the way his character exited and doesn't want to taint that.

I haven't laughed at this show for about four years, but I have to at least see how it ends.
I did actually think Kevin was funny in that episode. I also liked Stanley and Phyllis talking about Lil Romeo.

Well crap guys, now Carell's camp is denying the supposed confirmation, which I finally got to read and it's hardly a confirmation.

Good gracious.

I really don't think he's going to be on there. He doesn't have the greatest career going in Hollywood, and he probably doesn't want to remind people that he's a tv guy. That's pretty common with actors that go onto making movies.

5 movies in 2013 and 2 in production seems like a pretty good career.

Most of his movies have bombed at the box office.

He's never going to be Tom Hanks but his work load hardly suggests his career is struggling.

I really think his motivation for not appearing on the Office finale has more to do with tainting his character's exit a mere two seasons ago than worrying about appearing on TV because it might jeopardize his film career .

That's what SHE said.

There hasn't been a lot to laugh at watching this show the last several years. However, the painting of Dwight and Mose that now hangs in the managers office was FANTASTIC.
