I don't think Fulk returning is outside the realm of possibility. The idea of consecutive FFs seems a bit blissful for a program with zero to their name, currently. Fulk making top-5 in scoring would take a herculean effort, as well, given he has only been relevant and/or healthy one year in four chances, so far.Not drunk, u think Fulk coming back is ridiculous ? He probably will not get much more than a couple of coffee with a NBA team, why not ? Now top 5 in points and rebounds could be far-fetched, but top 10, I will have to check that. But, if u don't think Fulk is a borderline UT basketball legend, then u are wrong, imo. Especially, if we hang a banner this year and I think we have a damn good chance, SEC sucks

FTR that's not been determined how it's going to be handled yet. There are lots of sports at all levels who have no idea what their recruiting budgets are going to be next year. It's likely they do as you say but it's not been determined yet.Just aren’t going to count returning seniors towards limit, not blanket extra scholarships
I think he returns. He desperately needs to add some strength to his frame if he wants to play at the next level, and if he's not a prospect then why not come back. I bet Turner would have returned if he could have. Not drunk, u think Fulk coming back is ridiculous ? He probably will not get much more than a couple of coffee with a NBA team, why not ? According to Jeff Goodman that was made official weeks agoFTR that's not been determined how it's going to be handled yet. I’m sure they have issues individually with recruiting budgets, but that’s a school by school deal, not anything to do with blanket waiver on seniors. The NCAA needs to let the coaches know then as most everyone we talk to is having to wait till Jan 2nd to see what their recruiting budgets are going to be, especially the lower levels.
The school isn’t required to bring a kid backMaybe scholarship limitations won’t be determined until after it’s been decided whether the NCAA Tournament will happen or not. All sports and schools are facing a revenue crisis and adding scholarships before revenues have been calculated isn’t fiscally prudent. But if Fulmer was running the NCAA...
The NCAA hasn't told schools how much they will have to give returning players that take advantage of the free year. Not every scholarship is a full ride in each sport, a lot of these guys are going to be allowed to return but there may not be scholarship money or may not be as much as they were getting. Like I said, you obviously have no idea what "recruiting budget" means. The NCAA hasn't released what the schools will be able to give those that select to return, schools expect to find that out Jan 2nd.Lol I do, but again each school has that choice, seniors are allowed back and won’t count towards the numbers...schools can proceed however they’d like, Tennessee already plans on Anosike being here next year.
I'm aware of the differences. I could have worded it as scholarship allotment but coaches when speaking with them often refer to it as their budget. Regardless, the NCAA has not determined what those scholarships are going to be worth. Jan 2nd is the date I've been told that might happen.Recruiting budgets aren’t anywhere close to the same as scholarship budgets
In fact all schools have been saving serious money with no recruiting budget being spent in the travel and visit departments
This discussion took place in regards to Fulky & Tennessee, those budget issues aren’t something Tennessee is going to worry much about as they’ve already allowed athletes to return and take advantage of this rule...sure some smaller schools may have some issues but again, that wasn’t the basis of this discussion. You claimed that it hadn’t been determined that it would be allowed, that’s incorrect, determining financial budget/allotments maybe hasn’t been finalized, but allowing those guys to return has been decided on already. The NCAA hasn't told schools how much they will have to give returning players that take advantage of the free year. Nope, I said it hadn't been determined how it was going to be implemented just yet. You like to crap on folks, especially me, so I'm going to make it a point from now on to call you out on every piece of crap take that spews from your keyboard. This discussion took place in regards to Fulky & Tennessee, those budget issues aren’t something Tennessee is going to worry much about as they’ve already allowed athletes to return and take advantage of this rule...sure some smaller schools may have some issues but again, that wasn’t the basis of this discussion. No they aren’t, each school can do what they want, there were quite a few schools that didn’t bring back spring athletes.
