I will say, I knew that was gonna happen when NIL opened up. I was surprised though how upfront it was, I thought schools would still keep up the pretense that the money was really for advertising and not simply pay for play. Im not saying that means NIL should be canned (the cat is out of the bag now anyway and the courts wouldnt let the NCAA put it back in anyway), I'm just surprised how brazenly schools quickly transitioned to pay for playI wonder if it’s NIL.
I think that I’ve only noticed JJJ and ZZ actually making appearances or endorsements. “NIL” is really a joke - it’s just a way to launder pay for play.
