Agreed. Even if we don't hang our hat on it, just throw it out there to make an opponent think and adjust. Maybe to cool a run or help keep guys on the floor for offense if they get a couple of early fouls.Depending on matchup, wouldn’t mind going zone some in the tournament. Have a lot of length on the court at the guard spots, seemed pretty effective yesterday.
Mizzou was too good of shooting team to try it out again, but without the ball pressure of zz, might be helpful especially if mashack gets in foul trouble.
My thing with the matchup, I just dont trust this team to close things out in a close game. Are we going to be able to get up 15 on Duke? Probably not. It’s less about Duke winning games in a bad ACC and more about the fact that they are a very long team with a bunch of 5-star talent finally getting right. We’ve struggled with big, long teams this year like Kentucky, and last year a team very similar to Duke bounced us in R32
For two weeks I’ve been saying I was dreading the Duke draw and felt it was coming. Luckily, we didn’t draw them in Greeneseboro, but it’s still going to be an extremely tough game if we make it past ULL.
I am guessing we aren't going to hear anymore about this until after the NCAA tourney?@Stoerner Fumbles you heard any portal names? Not asking you to name them here, just curious if you’ve heard similar to what I have.
Just read tons of articles related to Chris Beard and “the incident.” Local reporters did a great job culling out the truth of what happened. Kudos to Texas for standing up for what was right. As far as Ole Miss goes, it’s pretty shameful to ignore not only the incident, but Beard’s insistence that truth won out when he knows his actions were wrong. Anything to win.
What’s funny is that he’s 100% using them to clean up his name, couple years down the line and assuming he’s having success and he’s bolting to a better job.
