I would be embarrassed to be a Memphis fan…among a long list of other instances, today the football team has added back a player formerly dismissed for theft simply because of some camp injuries at his position and now they realize they need him. And the basketball team is pursuing Arterio Morris the player dismissed from 2 schools iirc for rape charges. SMH, Thug U!

Coming from Cali and the portal being just an easy out for so many, I wonder how many people here thought that Shack would’ve been gone 2 years ago? His senior year, I remember a video floating around here of him working with an instructor and the bulk was his footwork on defense and catching the ball coming off screens. Knew/felt then this dude is special and he has not come close to disappointing.

Jahmai Mashack, and Admiral Schofield are recent examples of unselfish, dedicated, full eligibility players that have stuck around and made their teams really good or great. Josiah-Jordan James, John Fulkerson, and Uroš Plavšić did it as well. VFL hall of famers.

Jahmai has really earned the VFL title. He had the option of transferring anywhere without having to sit out a year. That applies to at least part of JJJ’s career.
