Agreed...it is comical regardless of the reason but I assume they are referring to the fact that he did not play his best against physical bigs last year and he sees this as some kind of oppy to disprove that by playing well against Okpara? I would also speculate Aidoo is hoping he can erase the last embarrassing images we have of him sitting on the bench the 2nd half when we desperately needed help then him hiding under a towel as he walked off the court.

He could go for 50/20 today and I’ll never forget that Purdue game. Fair or not, I’ll always remember him for that.

Based on the rumors posted on here, it would have been interesting if Awaka had stayed and matched up with Aidoo in this game.

Ty! Been in Europe the last 2 weeks and today is the first day not having ESPN really bit me in the ass. The internet streaming sites came through today for the first half, but I lost service going to dinner with the wife after that lol

A head coach with 30+ years coaching & has played Rick Barnes teams over 20 times since he came to Tennessee sitting up there saying he didn’t do a shoot around before the game is absolutely an excuse.

Also what kind of team leadership do you have that they didn't get shots up on their own? I can’t think of any Barnes coached team that would elect to miss shoot around, even if he said “it’s optional guys”

very good coach until about 2015/2016 when he got sour at people behind the scenes while at uk. he became bitter and refused to adapt. keeps a bunch of "yes men" around him and doesnt care about the fans anymore.

There's quite a list of transfers from our program who would've benefited greatly by staying at UT.

I was looking at mock NBA drafts, today. I saw one mock draft had Chaz Lanier going 49 and another had him at 52, in the 2nd round. There was one where they had Chaz going 21 to the Magic in the first round. I think Chaz will be drafted, but 21 is probably not happening, early 2nd round pick, maybe late first, imo.

I was surprised that Arkansas freshman PG, Boogie Fland is considered a 1st round lock in every mock draft, I looked at. A couple even had Fland as a top 10 pick. I think he is a damn good player, I just didn't see a 1st round lock, yesterday.

I think this is accurate, and it says a lot about him. Most guys would want to prove something and go out better than that.

He said all night he tossed and turned, so it seems like he made a decision not to have shoot around. Then he says a couple of players kinda no-showed, and I think he means in the game they no-showed bc his excuse is there body wasn’t woke up enough because he (Cal) decided not to have a shoot around. But I’m not sure

Bland is averaging 16 and 6 and shooting 44/38/83%. He's also a pretty good on-ball defender. He shot poorly, yesterday (his first SEC road game) against the best defense he'll see all year. He didn't acquit himself yesterday, necessarily, but he's legit. You saw him at his worst, I'd say.
